Everyone and every statistic is AGAINST the Panthers winning this weekend

I believe that this will be just the fire we need to beat the Seahawks.

I am not saying we cruise to the Super Bowl by any stretch but the media and everyone else is giving the Panthers every bit of motivation they need to pull off the upset.

Factor in an overly confident Seahawk team.

Who else believes this is exactly what we needed heading into this game? The Panthers play their best when expectations are low. Playing with house money sure does feel great!

Go Panthers!

According to many Seattle fans we should even bother to make the trip. We're playing the greatest team ever in the loudest venue in the history of Earth while we have only played cream puff competition with an ok defense and a one read QB.

So...why even bother? This is just a formality Seattle must endure to continue to win the next 10 consecutive Super Bowls.

So legit question, I have caught some Seahawk games on NFL redzone this season and it seems as though the 12th man isnt as loud as last year, its hard to explain but the same energy and loudness just isnt the same this year, dont get me wrong, its plenty loud enough but not the same. I read a article from someone else saying a similiar thing, they think its a combination of ticket prices going up because of the SB win and its more the upper scale "wine and cheese" crowd this year mixed with just overall fan complacency after winning the SB.

Anyone else that has caught Seahawk games this year notice it?

Not to blow my own horn again but I looked up SEA penalties and posted about that yesterday. They were the most penalized team this season as this writer alludes to. Their offensive line lacks discipline. I will wish our dline could fake them into as many false starts as possible.

I don't know if I can remember a time when more people were against an NFL team. Holy fuging poo. Every state poll except NC is picking against us. Every talking head "expert", people in foreign countries who don't even follow football are betting on Seattle.

You'd think Seattle has the best fuging football team ever assembled, and we're 0-16 and starting our 4th string QB. Enough! We have a good team. God almighty. We can play with them.

Is the universe going to explode if win Saturday? It's already being called the fuging mismatch round. This is worse than our SB run when we played the Eagles and so many people picked against us that when we won some of players were tearing up and attacking the media and calling out Terry Bradshaw and others. I don't know that I've ever seen anything like this mess.

There were a lot of marquis matchups at home this year (Packers, Cowboys, & Broncos) which are fan bases that travel well, so a lot of season ticket holders were selling their tickets for profit. Combine a larger than usual amount of visitors and/or bandwagoners, and you get a more subdued atmosphere. The Green Bay game was rocking, but Dallas was not. I don't think that'll be an issue this weekend because it's a playoff game.

    • I am trying to remember when I EVER said reach for need. My thing if someone falls you jump, if you can trade back a few slots and get help at the right value and pick up some ammo to move up from 51 which I think is outside the money zone, then you do that.   Take a WR later. Plenty of capable WRs have come from the 3rd round. Though this year I would go for C there if there was a reasonable choice. Take a TE if you must. I see more reason to take WR than TE. I think you give guys drafted two years ago and last year a chance to develop before cancelling them.    I think it is kind of unrealistic to throw everything all in on offense in hopes of going deep in the playoffs after an 8-10 year, even if it did have some nice bright spots in it.    And outside of this argument but relevant to it, I am bothered by Canales and Morgan and their apparent posture that we have arrived and are now in the big boy club. I don’t know where that comes from. They are out there talking like they are winners at 8-10. Backing into the playoffs in a real convoluted tie breaker scenario. They had some good games, yes. But the big feather n the cap, the LA Rams matchups, did you see what the Rams did? They didn’t fire the coaches but they fired their defensive backs. Bryce beat them yes, and it was pretty, but it was kind of like the Bucs and Mike Evans picking on our decimated secondary in 2022. Someone (Wilks) went down for allowing that to happen and they went down in LA too.  Wr aren’t as good as a whole lot of homers think we are. Shore up the trenches.    I think too many fans buy into it because they are so starved for anything that looks like a winner.
    • How exactly does one win OROY "by default"? Wouldn't winning the award mean that of the two, McMillon stayed strong the entire year while the other guy didn't and fizzled out? That's like saying Secretariat only won by default because the other horse stopped moving midway through the race. Absolutely zero logic in that statement, which makes me very glad that I've never really paid much attention to Walterfoozball.
    • I agree, teams in the past have fired the HC in order to retain a coach on staff...hell it happened to Mcderp this year, rams in the past and Im missing another.  The fall off for the Panthers team defense was huge once Mcderp leftd and Ron could not fix it even when he named himself DC.
