Russell is better than cam

How the hell would you know UNTIL Cam Newton has a chance to at LEAST be coached with enough creativity to take advantage of his obvious gifts?

You know... like RUSSELL fuging WILSON?

I agree he needs better coaching, but the decision on his contract will likely have to be made before he gets that coaching.

You can't throw a 100 million dollar contract at the QB we see right now.

It'll have to be something like Kaepernick and Stafford got, and then after that hope he earns the big deal.

haha amazed ppl here can not asknowldge Wilson's greatness and just tries to convince himself that his looks great because of the D and blah blah. Wilson has looked great every where / team he has played. at some point you just have to realize its him.

He's a good QB. But you think if he was here on this team he'll have the same amount of success? Absolutely not

Please if Cam was on the Seahawks they would never lose...he is a good qb but they surround him with talent

please cam would still make boneheaded plays, overthrow his WRs, throw into double coverage, and take timely sacks.

cam needs to qb guru to help him out. not ready to close the book on Cam but right now him and Wilson are not even comparable as total QBs.

Not sure if you're being sarcastic or not but Russell is on a different level than cam. Much better overall QB.

Russell Wilson does have the advantage of not having to play against that defense of his. I wonder how he'd look playing at Seattle against Seattle lol

Only good qb? was a great qb at NC State, Wisconsin, and Seatle. At some point ppl need to recognize than man puts in work at every stop.

Wilson might not have the same success but he would certainly have more success than Cam here.

Wilson played a perfect game basically. You can say he has good coaches, defense, and cast but he went out there and played a perfect game. 15/22 3 touchdowns no turnovers. Only took a few sacks.

Wilson was unstoppable. He's a future hall of fame QB easily. Lynch only had 59 yards rushing and does anyone believe Wilson, Kearse and Baldwin are that great?

Not sure how anyone can watch this game and criticize Wilson. He was perfect, unstoppable and smarter than our defense and coordinators all day.

    • I tend to look at all of these guys and wonder how committed they are to doing special teams? It's a big deal when you're fighting for roster spots. And we need massive refreshes to all phases of the special teams game. And the idea that four or five of these players could see rotational use outside of special teams would be a win. This team has accumulated quite a bit of dead wood over the last five years and its time to take an axe to some of it. These new fellows have a shot to benefit from that if they can really push. That being said, wow that receivers room is crowded right now. I'm not sure if I was a vet player with more than 2 years experience other than Adam Thielen if I'd be too sure of my future here. Tet is guaranteed a spot, Coker earned his for sure and they aren't done with XL developing yet. That's only two to three spots left for the entire room. It's going to be very competitive and better for Bryce's future, too. Safety and linebacker are the opportunity spots here this season. There's room for the right guy and we may see a starter eventually from one of these UDFAs, either by merit or injury.
    • Aho and Jarvis just gripping it too tight right now. Relax, play their 200 ft game and the shots will start to find the net. Freddie has been excellent and welcome back Mista Svechnikov. Burns.....well, thank goodness for Slavin.
    • Supposedly he plans on staying in college for all 4 years.
