Wilson & Luck

I said turnovers. Did you forget fumbles, where he led the league with both 13 and 6 lost?

Again, he did this throwing more TDs than anyone else in the league and number 3 in passing yds in his third year! No one is going to bitch about his turnovers unless it begins to cost them games.

Andrew Luck has been in the league for 3 years.

In those 3 years, in the regular season he's gone 16-2 vs. the pathetic AFC South (six games per year vs. the Titans, the Texans, and the Jaguars) with 40 passing TDs and 9 interceptions in those 18 games.

In those same 3 years, he's gone 17-13 vs. the rest of the NFL with 46 passing TDs and 34 interceptions in those 30 games.

He averages an interception per two games played against the AFC South.

He averages more than an interception per game against teams NOT in the AFC South.

He averages two interceptions per game in the playoffs.

And what exactly is bad about this again? He has a winning record inside and outside his division from what I read. Is that bad?

It puts those numbers you posted in perspective. Instead of looking amazing, numbers now look inflated against garbage teams.

Although now that someone showed those numbers are misleading, the talk is switching to wins and losses which is a team state but whatever.

I didn't say it was bad.

Its FANTASTIC against the Titans/Texans/Jaguars.

Against the rest of the NFL?  Bad?  No.  Pedestrian?  Without a doubt.

Really? So lets pretend those games were not played? He had 5 TD passes against WAS, which was his highest in a game this season. Guess who else had 5 TD passes against WAS? No one! No other QB had more than 4 TD passes against WAS. Cam Netwon has never scored more than 3TD passes in a game. His career high is 4TDs in a game with one rushing and he also has played some bad teams like Luck.

In any case, if it was that easy, what were Cam's stats against the AFCS in his rookie year? He averaged 181yds, with 0.75 TD passes a game. It's so easy any QB could do it against the AFCS right?

You play the division handed you and no easy team is a guaranteed win. Our record was 7-8-1 and we had 6 wins against bad teams, two wins against the Bucs, and 4 against, ATL, CHI, NO and CLE. Cam averaged 199yds passing in those 4 wins.

Oh man

That's easy to say and as I said understandable from another fan base. I am talking about his pure athleticism and ability to completely take over a game, his amazing energy and marketable smile when off court (Gatorade, Signature Shoes etc. Ring a bell?).

Anyone that has seen what Cam is CAPABLE of doing can tell you it is not far fetched. His talent has the potential to make him one of the greatest of all time.  However football is a FULL team sport, where Jordan could basically control every facet Cam only plays 1 of the 3 phases of the game.
