No matter how hard I try, I just cant hate the Patriots.

What a bullshit analogy. By all accounts, K does it the right way and is a generally admirable guy. Neither of those things can be used to describe Belichick.

I think they do have a lot of similarities, but I agree with you there. I think K is much more admirable from that standpoint than Belichick, and I'm a UNC fan.

Hate the Patriots? Nah, they are the most successful franchise in the last 15 years.

Hate 'em because of the Super Bowl loss? No, we lost one of the greatest Super Bowls ever in the last second after we made a mistake and kicked it out of bounds and they took advantage with the short field.

I respect Tom Brady, it's players like one and done Peyton Manning I have nothing but contempt for.

    • No one way to do it, it does appear that with the bigger draft picks of the last 5 years…..majority haven’t steered clear of young QBs on the roster being their hopeful guy. Especially past their rookie seasons but even some the biggest ones have had it early.   As far as Andy Dalton, the two young guys he has “mentored”…..have had very rough NFL starts.  Which really ask the why the heck is Dalton here.   He doesn’t really check any box.  No young potential.  Can’t step in and win.  And his mentor track record with Fields and now Bryce is bad
    • I had thought the Panthers might let him play out his contract this year and hope he stays healthy. If not draft a left tackle and move Ekwonu to right tackle.
    • Frankly, if most teams in the NFL lose their starting QB for a significant amount of time, they're screwed. The fantasy is that one has a future Tony Romo or a Nick Foles that can carry a stacked team. The reality is that you might get roughly 3~5 games out of your backup before it all falls apart. Remember all of Peyton Manning's backups? Utterly terrible. Speaking of backup QB's, Raiders may need one. https://www.nfl.com/news/raiders-qb-aidan-o-connell-suffered-fractured-wrist-in-preseason-finale-expected-to-be-out-6-8-weeks
