I'm wondering is anyone using any sort of program that cleans up your pc from viruses and malware but also gets your pc to run brand new. RIght now i'm just using avast internet security and malwarebytes. It takes longer to boot up now then when i first got it.

Anyone got any idea how to boost up performance and speed without buying a new pc or getting more memory?

Btw I had a nasty virus a couple weeks ago. It would replicate my desktop. I could see 2 explorer.exe files in task manager. You're only supposed to have 1, that's your desktop. This virus would replicate the desktop and then take up all of the available memory left. The normal amount explorer.exe is supposed to take up is around 50,000 K of memory. This mother fuger was taking up around 2,000,000 K of memory! It lagged the poo out of my pc. I couldn't remove it unless I did scans in safe mode. It wouldn't get removed in normal mode. That was one bad bitch.

'Boot and nuke' that poo

Have a disc and save all your programs.

Make sure you know what you're doing before you nuke it. I nuke my computer once or twice a year. It doesn't protect you so you still have to be careful. I don't like anti virus software it slows my computer down.

Nuking it strips it of everything except windows, but you'll need the window disc and/or the code given to you when you bought it and you'll have to reinstall anything not on your disc you saved things to.

I nuke a few laptops and a few desktops every year. I have an expensive Mac I haven't done poo to and still runs the best...Apple is great for this but is so damn expensive.

I don't look up porn and i don't have a windows 7 disk to reinstall it if i was to nuke it, computer is 4 years old.   I use to have a program that would remove any unnessary starting up programs, clean your registry, remove any and all viruses/malware, defrag and speed up computer all in one. I was wondering if there was something out there like that but not cost alot to update every year.

    • Reasonable. I mean I didn’t see a clear path to relief this season myself. As I have typed already, I think the QB FA class is more interesting next season and that draft is supposed to be stacked as well. There just weren’t many options this year.  When you have Tepper to contend with you have to tread lightly around this unless you are 100% certain and willIng to stake your job on it.   There were a couple of outings that helped Bryce a lot in terms of  thinking maybe he can do this, and if you are a supporter you are giving them a lot of weight. You are likely to think just get him some more help and he can do that every week. Which I think Tepper falls into that category.  And the playoffs, division champs, regardless of the way I see that, the supporters will also give that a lot of weight.    And the big one, the atmosphere In BOA for that WC game, Tepper had to be soiling himself over that. If you pulled Bryce out right now you had better be right and your new guy had better make the playoffs and look good doing it or you will be gone and your chance to build your old team back into respectability will be gone too.  So here we have Pickett on a one year deal, and Grier and King. I understand it.
    • Well, seeing as we play the Lions at home this year, pretty sure that rumor isn't true.
