Greg Hardy feels sorry for Matt Ryan

Allegedly

You know the angle I find interesting here is that the shouldn't be seen as a bad thing even if true. Hardy legally had the guns which means he is not the type of person people are speculating he is.( I would bet a large number of Panthers fans throughout NC have just as many guns as Hardy did.) This actually would play into the narrative he was trying to subdue a belligerent person in his own home without harming her. The guns were on the bed yes, but no one said how they were laid out and I have doubts that in that situation he would even have remembered putting them there. So my theory is that in the midst of trying to get her to calm down, he assumed picking her up and throwing her onto the bed (assuming he doesn't remember that he had his guns out) would be much better for her and wouldn't harm her like throwing her to the floor would.

If he was TRYING to break her arm as she says, he could have and if he truly was trying to harm her he most definitely could have. But when you throw the bed into the story, and hypothetically speaking the guns weren't there, everyone could believe he was truly doing as his version of the story goes, and trying to calm down a person going nuts. So insert the guns, add alcohol, assume he put them there earlier in the day, and he probably didn't recall putting them there.

Personally, I think he is innocent of any domestic violence and guilty of putting himself in a bad situation with a person who has been shown to constantly be in bad situations.

"So would you say that the weed flew out of the window right before your accident?" "Yes ma'am, that is what happened."

Judge: "The complainant is the most credible witness, she saw weed that flies!"

That sums it up pretty nicely. If the super strong NFL player Greg Hardy, had malious and harmful intent in his heart, he not only could have, but would have caused the drunk, crack head woman bodily harm. However, that was not the case and the first judge, a Liberal woman, should have found no sufficient cause and dismissed the case,in her i find fault and place much blame.

Better to be political for your constituents when you know he is going to challenge a guilty verdict and possible be found not guilty than to let him walk and face the poo storm that comes along with a high-profile person who is presumed guilty by the general public.

  1. According to a study cited by Sports Illustrated in 2009, 78 percent of former NFL players are bankrupt or undergoing severe financial stress within two years of retirement from football, and 60 percent of former NBA players are bankrupt within five years of retirement.Jan 22, 2014
Reasons?  Not sure, but I imagine Crack Whores is pretty high on the list.

Reasons can be found  in a 30 for 30 episode called 'Broke'... Featuring former Carolina Panther Dante Wesley.....

I hope hardy is found innocent, then turns around a sues her for deformation of character (maybe hard to do) and damages to his future NFL value. Someone needs to set these gold diggers straight, then maybe they would think before they steal. Too many nasty women in it for the money. If she had to pay that would be a great message to send to other pan handlers.

    • Fowler: Bucs 23, Panthers 16. Baker Mayfield only won a single game when he was an unimpressive Carolina starter, but somehow he’s 5-0 when playing AGAINST the Panthers. For the Panthers to pull off this upset, they’ll need to score at least in the mid-20s. With Tampa Bay relatively healthy following a mini-bye (and Mike Evans’ return is huge), it feels like this will be too tough a task. Kaye: Bucs 24, Panthers 20. The win-loss-win-loss streak comes to an end. It’s hard to trust the play-calling following the loss to the New Orleans Saints. The Panthers know what’s on the line, but they also knew last week, too. It’ll be close; I just have trouble trusting a positive outcome after a defeating one on the road. Zietlow: Panthers 38, Bucs 35. This prediction goes against conventional wisdom, but then again, conventional wisdom doesn’t seem to apply to these Panthers. This group, after all, has yet to lose back-to-back contests since Weeks 1 and 2. I think they win this one to make Week 18 interesting — and yes, that’s even with motivated Baker Mayfield and future Hall of Famer Mike Evans in good form. Why not?
    • Sam developed into a different player after he mostly sat for a year and learned a ton by being in that QB room under Shannahan in San Francisco.  Then he went to the Vikings who have a poo load of talent and another genius level offensive mind at HC in Kevin O Connel. I think they genuinely built up his confidence in a way he never did in New York or Charlotte.  He would not have been the same player if he stayed here IMO. Especially if he had been involved in that disaster season with Frank Reich in 2023, that might have cooked his confidence for good.  I guess you could argue we wouldn't have been that bad if we also kept cmc and dj i guess.
    • Willis was impressive last night given the circumstances. GB and SF seem to just have it figured out as far as QB goes.   It's frustrating, but I enjoy seeing our old players find success elsewhere.
