Rivera expected to hire Turner to assist with Panthers receivers not official

Panthers coach Ron Rivera continues to tweak his coaching staff, adding an entry-level offensive assistant from a family Rivera has worked with previously.

Cameron Turner is expected to join the Panthers this week as the assistant receivers coach, a source close to Turner said Sunday.

OC is the problem, not the WR's coaching.

We're fixing every other coaching position besides the most vital, OC. Hopefully Rivera comes to his senses soon, but I believe that is most unlikely. He's too loyal to Shula more so than having an actual NFL offensive style.

Shula is probably on a short leash so when he fugs up and we're in deep poo to start the season again, i surmise that Shula will be canned and we'll roll with Proehl as OC.

its actually Norv Turner's nephew.. looks to be just a "keep it in the family" hire

If we give him options and tools he could possibly be a decent oc considering our defensive philosophy

So Norv rejects the Panthers in favor of the Browns yet Ron keeps doing him favors anyways. Same sort of shrunkenness that prevents him from firing Shula.
