That PS3 Sonic game is the first that comes to mind.  It was just titled 'Sonic the Hedgehog' like the original.  It pretty much killed whatever was left of the franchise.

 

And come on now... either you're being overdramatic or you must not have played (or remember) very many games if Heavy Rain and Battlefield 4 are the "worst" games you've ever played.  Both of those are decent-to-good games.

 

There's some seriously shitty games out there.  Hell, I can't even remember all the truly shitty ones I've played.

Heavy Rain is absolute poo and is by far the worst I've played. All you do is basically watch a fuging badly written movie and press a button when it tells you to. That's it. Not even close to decent.

I appreciate A:CM for what it is; remove the incredible hype and the license and you have a mediocre-at-best shooter.

That said, it is an abomination to the franchise and was absolutely crushed under the weight of its own hype. Gearbox really screwed the pooch but Alien: Isolation is great, and I hope a developer can somehow combine the two types of games in the future Doom 3 style.

Can't decide if I hate Legend of Dragoon or Final Fantasy 10 more. I was so hyped for both games and they absolutely sucked. I'd have to say Dragoon was worse because I stuck with 10 to the end at least.

I love legend of dragoon, it's my fav rpg. 

 

Dino Crisis 3 would be the worst game i've ever played. It ignores the main character Regina and the story of the previous 2 games and gives us dinosours who are artificiuly created and can mutate plus you move around on a jet pack. You can kill a normal dino but if you move out of the fixed camera angle perspective the dino you just killed will be alive again. Story is terrible and bad controls.

yeah you could drive through mountains and into the sky and stuff right?  it was like playing doom with noclip turned on.

i think i rented and spent a very regrettable weekend with rise of the robots once.  that game was basically a golden turd in the sense that the graphics for that era were spectacular but the gameplay was a total zero

 

revolution x (that arcade rail shooter starring the members of aerosmith of all people) had a really bad snes port that i actually owned
