Fox's Bears switching to 3-4 defense

Makes sense, given that they hired Vic Fangio to run the D. Not what you'd expect from John Fox though, as he's always been a 4-3 guy.

Could be wrong, but I don't offhand recall the Bears ever running a 3-4 in the past.

If you have Fangio running your defence you'd be best off just letting him choose the system. Guy is legit.

He was hands-off the offense in Denver and apparently now hands-off the offense AND defense. Nice work if you can get it.

Fox being hands off on defense is an odd concept. Fangio is legit on that side though.

A lot of Bear fans wanted McCown over Cutler. Cutler probably thought that debate was over

The Bears have so much talent on their roster, especially the offense.  They don't need Fox to be too hands on.  Trestman didn't have the respect of the players.  Fox is a coach that commands respect because of his reputation of a "player's coach" and his past success.  I expect them to be pretty damn good next year.
