Panthers adding private club in BofA

As soon as JR heard the news about Montsta getting a gig on carolinahuddle.com, he decided to make a private club in his honor.

"Phil Youtsey, the Panthers' executive director of ticketing and sponsorship, said the idea of adding a private club began percolating in the last couple of years. When the team decided to upgrade all 158 suites in the stadium before the start of the 2015 season, the efficiency of building The 32 Club at the same time convinced the Panthers to move forward."

I usually sit in 535 area and understand what you say. Just once, I'd love to do a suite. I've sat in the 100 section before and didn't like that. Too close and you can't see the plays develop.

If I were having a big party or something, maybe.

But doing a party during a game is kind of useless for me. I'm too focused on the game action

I have had the pleasure of being in a suite in 2012 against New Orleans. Great food, great atmosphere, great hostess, great private restroom. The best piece of it all, is to sit in the two rows of seats in your suite and look on either side of you, you can see all the parties and people in every suite until the glass curves. They also have a great closed circuit TV to watch the game in case you missed a play. Oh, and all the beer one could drink!

So if the Panthers made one of the suites a Huddle suite. what should they put in there for the Huddlers?

For SCP, a toilet seat made of 24 karat gold

For Promethean Forerunner, Huddle kittens serving drinks

For Mr.Scot, a telestrator

What else?

Lord have mercy, a telestrator

I'd drive people nuts if I had access to one of those

Yeah, was lucky enough to watch from a suite on a day when the weather wasn't exactly perfect - so that worked out okay.

But the food wasn't awesome (the suite owner picks the menu, so you get what you get).  And there were too many people for the number of seats to watch the game from.

Sure, it was nice - but being in the stands is better if you're there For The Game as opposed to being there just because.

    • Ha-ha, I bet that went through everyone's mind.  Admittedly I don't read all the comments in a thread before I make a post. Great minds think alike!
    • Cam was hitting his stride as a QB in 2017/2018.     This is why I think stats like completion percentage are overrated. As long as a QB is clutch and makes the throws to win the game the rest doesn’t really matter. What good is a check down stat padder if they’re a choker.  Until Norv Turner (and briefly Chud) got here we put Cam in high pressure throwing situations all the time. We also ran the ball on first down more than most teams in the NFL in the Ron era. Coupled with shitty WRs, all that is expressed in his stats. I also assume Cam took the ball in his hands on many occasions rather than trust Funchess to catch the ball.    It was also never Cams job to play the game like someone else. His presence on the field dictated the game in a way that is rarely seen.  He showed he could play the dink and dunk game just before TJ Watt. That didn’t suddenly make him better than his earlier seasons. He just got put in a legit under center  passing game again for first time since his rookie year with Chud.    Ron took the quickest path to success and abused the RPO because his ass was about to get fired.    Cam never got the credit for being the cerebral player that he was. I just think when you are legitimately a human Superman, sometimes the best play is having the ball in your hands. He was a better passer than Delhomme was.
    • I don't think Canales has any problem benching Bryce or moving on if Bryce doesn't come out playing like the end of last year.  It's year 3 no more excuses for Bryce
