Panthers Hoping To Sign Oher and Ginn Before Tuesday

Ginn only has 11 career TDs to his 8 year career as a WR...

Royal is younger and better in about every category (his only bad years were with Qbs Orton and The Golden Calf of Bristol and he was hurt his first year with the chargers), Ginn was only relevant when he was with us, he has been hot garbage everywhere else...so if we do land him, atleast he was decent here...

Ginn was hot garbage or the QBs attempting to throw him the ball were hot garbage?  Who were they?

Ginn is going to want something similar to the deal the Chargers just have Jacoby Jones.

2-yrs $5.5 million would be too much. I would be OK if we don't sign Ginn.

Less than three million a year? He won us a playoff game last year, show some respect

He played on 2 teams that made the playoffs (not counting the 2013 Panthers, so 08 dolphins and 2 years with the 49ers), and played with Alex Smith who has taken 2 teams to the playoffs and one playoff year with pennington who won comback player of the year and passed for 3653 yds and 19 TDs... so its not like hes had david carrs his whole career

He was the 9th overall pick in the 1st round of the 2007 draft....and has 11 career TDs...dude has been garbage

I think Ginn is simply trying to drive his price up a little bit more with all this talk of going back home to Cleveland.

He knows their QB situation, he already went through one similar to that last season in Arizona.

    • I think the qualification has changed over time though. A deep ball play used to take 4 to 6 seconds for the receiver to get to that spot on the field. Now a receiver can be there in 2.5. That's less time than most QBs have to set and throw. In my mind a deep route takes time to develop. A crossing route and a deep route can't take the same amount of time at full speed. You can have 4 deep balls on the same drive,  almost 5 if you do 5 20 yard throws goal line to goal line. That doesn't even make sense when you say it out loud.
    • The sad part is it looks manicured enough that he's aware it's running away from him.  Also, I just wanted to give you some fun loving grief on King Haynes today having a chance to throw a game winning TD, and was wildly errant, and ultimately picked off to end the game.  So happy I won't have to hear anything else about The Golden Calf of Bristol lite ever again watching college football.
    • I just think Panthers believe in Bryce far more than the fans do and he is most likely going to be the QB at least the next two seasons. the real shot of us moving from Bryce is not getting an extension, till then they are going to give him every chance to succeed and I just want to win.
