(In your opinion) Top 5 needs for the Panthers and who would you like to fill the spots?

With Free Agency only HOURS away, what do you see as the Panthers Top 5 needs to make the next big step? And who (FA or Draft) do you want to fill said spots?

Here's what I have in mind:

1. WR2- T. Smith, Strong, or J. Hardy

2. OT- Bulaga, Flowers, or D.J. Humphries

3. S- Nate Allen, Draft BPA in 4th

4. CB- Cromartie, R. Darby

5. DE- Derrick Morgan, B. Orakpo

I know some of this is wishful thinking, and probably not got a chance in hell of happening. But it's fun to dream.

Share your Top 5.

1. OT. Either Hairston from Buffalo, think that's his name, or draft pick (s) like Fisher, Humphries, Collins, Peat

2. WR. A decent #2 guy in FA, a potential #1 or 2 in the draft like Strong, and I also wouldn't mind another WR/KR like Lockett

3. DE. Morgan may be out of the price range in FA, but I'm sure we draft a guy.

4. S - Harper improved, but he'll amazingly be even slower and older next year. I'm still not completely sold on Boston either, so upgrade either safety position. If Collins falls in the draft, could be the guy at 25.

5. BPA in a way. Whether it be a CB, RB, special teams guy, whatever...just find quality depth

1. OT. Draft pick (s) like Fisher, Humphries, Collins, Peat and Jake Long (Very Incentive Laden Deal)

2. WR. Kenny Britt and Draft Pick (Strong)

3. DE. Derick Morgan (This should be our FA splash) Would keep our Dline rotation beastly

4. S - Depends who is affordabe

5. RB - REGGIE BUSH (WOULD BE ABSOLUTELY PERFECT IN OUR SYSTEM!!)

1 - OT (Bulaga, Collins/Flowers/Humphries)

2 - WR (Torrey Smith, Michael Crabtree, 1st round draft pick)

3 - S (I don't know, someone?)

4 - TE (Would be fine with re-signing Dickson here)

5 - DE (Derrick Morgan)

TE was my #6 need. And I too wouldn't mind re-signing Dickson ORgoing after Zach Miller.

I haven't given the RB spot much thought. I love Stew and I think Fozzy will be a great replacement for D-Will in the "Quick guy/Stew Relief" roll. But Bush would make a great addition to our roster, but only if he can come at a reasonable price tag.

1 - Kicker - Ryan Succop

2 - Long Snapper - Mike Leach

3 - Relief Pitcher - Andrew Miller

4 - Goalie - Martin Brodeur

5 - Right Wing - Alfredsson, Daniel

Wait...what was the question again?

Your list is invalid

Alfredsson is retired :)

    • Ha-ha, I bet that went through everyone's mind.  Admittedly I don't read all the comments in a thread before I make a post. Great minds think alike!
    • Cam was hitting his stride as a QB in 2017/2018.     This is why I think stats like completion percentage are overrated. As long as a QB is clutch and makes the throws to win the game the rest doesn’t really matter. What good is a check down stat padder if they’re a choker.  Until Norv Turner (and briefly Chud) got here we put Cam in high pressure throwing situations all the time. We also ran the ball on first down more than most teams in the NFL in the Ron era. Coupled with shitty WRs, all that is expressed in his stats. I also assume Cam took the ball in his hands on many occasions rather than trust Funchess to catch the ball.    It was also never Cams job to play the game like someone else. His presence on the field dictated the game in a way that is rarely seen.  He showed he could play the dink and dunk game just before TJ Watt. That didn’t suddenly make him better than his earlier seasons. He just got put in a legit under center  passing game again for first time since his rookie year with Chud.    Ron took the quickest path to success and abused the RPO because his ass was about to get fired.    Cam never got the credit for being the cerebral player that he was. I just think when you are legitimately a human Superman, sometimes the best play is having the ball in your hands. He was a better passer than Delhomme was.
    • I don't think Canales has any problem benching Bryce or moving on if Bryce doesn't come out playing like the end of last year.  It's year 3 no more excuses for Bryce
