In first offseason with Washington, GM Scot McCloughan has acquired Dashon Goldson and Ricky Jean Francois — players he drafted with 49ers.

The Bucs invested 2 first-round picks and about $45 million since '12 to stock secondary with Barron, Revis and Goldson. All 3 are now gone.

Just wow. But with Winston that offense is dangerous. Not sure Derek Anderson could go 2-0 vs them this year.

What strikes me funny is we're only talking about a three year stretch.

You keep going a few more years back and you find that their past first rounders have included this

A running back who has major injury issues

A QB that is lucky to make a NFL squad after being let of by the Bucs

A defensive end who has had major injury issues.

Martin, Freeman and Clayborn have all looked like bust because of play or injury issues. If they didn't sign a bunch of decent free agents they would only have about a handful of good players.

It looks like they may have turned things around last year with drafting Evans and ASJ but one year doesn't make or break a player and the Bucs have had plenty of good rookies end up being bust. Just remember WR Clayton who had over 1,000 yards his rookie season then was lucky to make a nfl squad.

Winston has a lot of maturity issues so he could end up being another Bust for the Bucs.

It's his only move he had since no one else wants him. He could end up being their #1 or 2 WR there.

So not bad move for him.

He can be the #1 or #2 in Oakland and catch passes from Derek Carr

or

he can be the #2 in Carolina and catch passes from Cam Newton

Maiocco mentions that if Crabtree were to return to San Francisco next year, he likely wouldn’t be an every-down receiver now that they’ve brought in Torrey Smith.

As of now, Crabtree has taken just one visit to Miami to meet with the Dolphins. Beyond that, there has been very little buzz surround the former first-round pick

The contract Miami offered Crabtree was $2.5 mil for one year,

incentives that could get it to $3.5 mil. Crabtree wasn't happy

with that.

seems Crabby Patty turned down 3M from the dolphins. I wonder if he's taking state taxes into account...

The Dolphins offered free agent WR Michael Crabtree "close to $3 million" but he turned it down, according to the Miami Herald.

Crabtree wanted something closer to $4.5 million. With so many great wideouts in this year's draft, teams aren't going to overpay for an underachiever like Crabtree. He'll visit the Raiders next. If Oakland's offer is similar to Miami's, Crabtree would be wise to take the money.

Speculation is he wants 4.5 million.

That's down from the 9-10 million he was said to believe he was worth, but likely still too high.

Watch him wait around till after the draft and then he'll probably wish he'd taken the three.

(and no, I wouldn't want him here)
