Todd Gurley to visit with the Panthers

Who cares what the Panthers need?

I thought everyone and their sister knew Gettleman drafts BPA. If Gurley is there in the first, he'll be wearing a Panther uniform.

In one ear, out the other with some of these people....

Gman won't take him in the 1st (if available), and he'll be gone when we pick in the 2nd.

He wouldnt be visiting if he wasnt thinkinh about possibly taking him in the 1st. -__-

Could we go one draft without drafting a RB please.

Let Stewart, Tolbert and Fozzy carry the load

No. Tolbert will likely be gone soon and Stewart is hurt every single year.

Due deligence, dude.

Mark of a professional GM.

this, every time.

I laugh at thise who are scared, and say "not at 25."

Getts is doing his job, which is to evaluate the talent. All of it. Not what just expected to be there, that would be idiotic.

I also know if Getts pick him, we should be thrilled to be adding another weapon for cam.

To those saying we shouldn't draft him because of health concerns, we WON'T draft him if Gettleman doesn't feel comfortable with the way his knee is. If we draft him, that's a sign that his knee is expected to be fine.

And I have no problem with taking Gurley. When we drafted Kuechly, weren't people going WTF at picking another linebacker when we already had Jon Beason? Some of the best picks in Panthers history have been when we've zigged when people thought we were going to zag.

Not sure how I feel about this to be honest.

This means we're truly about BPA, not BPN. Awesome news.

Gurley was on pace for over 2000 rushing yards against top level competition. This makes sense.

Truth.  At the time, I hated both the Beason and Kuechly picks.

When we took Beason, I wanted either Greg Olsen or Brandon Meriweather.  When we took Kuechly, I wanted either Dontari Poe, Stephon Gilmore, or Michael Brockers.

Yep, they're a dime a dozen. That's why Buffalo just traded a very good young MLB for McCoy and then gave McCoy a fat new contract. It's why Philly paid Murray big time. It's why Ingram got a decent contract from the Saints even though they're in cap hell. It's why CJ Spiller got $9M guaranteed.

The media has overplayed the diminished value of RBs in today's NFL. Good RBs are still very valuable.

Neither McCoy or Murray went in the first round. And both Spiller and Ingram weren't worth their first round billing, both have also been out produced by guys drafted in lower rounds.

I think for now we are ok at the rb position.
