WR Takashi Kurihara, looking to become first Japanese player in NFL, runs a 4.54 40 at the veteran combine (Highlight video inside)

Apparently, the veteran combine's 40 timing method makes times slightly slower than the actual combine's time, so his time would likely translate to somewhere in the 4.40 - 4.49 range.

5'11 & 177 lbs measurables. Not terrible for a potential scrappy slot receiver type. Plays professionally in Japan and it seems as if he dominates the competition. He was invited to Atlanta's 'international practice squad' a few years ago and Baltimore's training camp in 2013, apparently impressing.

Caught some awfully thrown passes in this highlight video, and seems to have some shiftiness and tenacity.

Training camp fodder? I'll take it 10 times outta 10. Love guys that have something they're trying to prove. He likely can't hang with NFL talent, but deserving of a look IMO.

    • lmao that's a good point; but at the same time I think and HOPE Canales learned from how he operated last year, only giving us one real look against the Bills that had people shouting 'Super Bowl'...only to come out flat.
    • I mean the whole defense was trash, he was at least trying. Besides if you put a all-pro among 10 PSers, that all-world will look human. It's very hard to judge very bad units and find the best players among them. Horn and Mjack played well too, there was 0 pass rush and -1777784 run defense.
    • I was looking back and seen Evan Neal has made the switch to OG after awful years at OT.......I wanted him over Icky for his tricep alone..... I was 100% stroud too, I was super pissed about his record setting and playoff leading start......I had arich vastly over the midget BY too. But right now, BY is about the only one on the up&up. The Texans used lots of prime draft capital to help Stroud.  It's still not ready. But if you're honestly about past drafts, these GMs are not alone in making mistakes.  I still feel they should stayed put and allowed Carter to fall in their lap, but best I know Tepper had the worst rage about landing a QB for the past 5 years. The deal is with the correct coaching staff, Baker or darnold would still be here....Baker has signed 3 years for 100 million, which is a great NFL QB contract. Tepper hiring rhule and his shitty Baylor/temple staff was a massive setback given rhule was in control too. Then panic set in an d fitteerererererer had to make a winner and find a QB. Ugh.....I hope they are back...
