Pretty sure Nortman had the worst punt yardage averages in the league last season.

 

 

Could be that he was asked not to punt it as far as he can. 

 

 

Fairly common in the NFL among teams with terrible coverage units.

Ginn will do punts. Todman will do kick returns.

NET not average. One, where you punt from affects distance as the goal is more likely than not to pin it and not just kick as far as you can. Two, NET reflects the coverage team more than the kicker.

It blows my mind how ppl automatically say they don't like a one year contract signed player. If you know anything about football these are roster fillers and camp bodies. They may work out great but if not, they get cut. Chill out armchair GMs

5.8 YPC on 32 attempts, 25 receptions last year and returns kickoffs.

 

 

If those stats are any indication, RB Jordan Todman should be competive in training camp. If not..................

Probably because the Panthers allowed the most yards per punt return.
