I know, I hate picking favorites too. But this is dedicated to the one beer you tried that sent you in directions on the space/time continum that you never knew exisited.

I'll start with mine, Manchester Star.

Manchester Star is a 7.3% abv, dark ale, with chocolate, malty overtones and a warming finish made from 100% British ale malt, chocolate malt and Goldings hops.

I just wish I could remember half the beers I tired while in Germany one summer. Virtually every city/town has their own brewery where local beers are on tap along with some famous German brews. Beer was cheaper than water in the majority of places so it is entirely possible I drank more beer than water during my stay. In fact, at some recycling centers and small markets large bottled beers were only one or two euros. Nothing better than getting out of class and heading down to the river in Germany on a beautiful day with a handful of different beers for six or seven euros total.

I know exactly.

Me and a couple of buddies went over to a friends house about 5 years ago to help him move a hot tub...

It was July and about 99 degrees outside... we moved the damned thing then went into his man cave (outside garage) where he had a custom kegerator with a keg of ice cold Yuengling on tap.

My god, that was the best thing I've ever had in my life.

My own breakfast stout. I modeled it after some commercial beers that i had drank like founders breakfast stout and KBS. So it was a base of a stout with oatmeal and chocolate and then aged on barrel chips. Homebrew really is awesome. Its just got this fresh taste about it. My second favorite was a black ipa similar to the one stone makes. Thats what i drank at the detroit game last year.

    • Well, they're both in the same league (if you will). During preseason, Fitz went 3/3 & Sauls went 5/6, but of course Sauls was 4/4 last night (including one 50+). Both were Lou Groza Award finalists. I believe Fitz made two 55+ yarders last season, while Sauls led the nation with three. Fitz was 13/13 (💯) while Sauls was 21/24 (87.5). Fitz was a 3rd-Team AP All-American, while Sauls was a PFF All-American.  Career-wise, Fitz was 58/74 (78.4), while Sauls was 52/64 (81.3). I wish that I could see the attempts and knew the depth of yardage. I wish that we could compare practice kicks during their training camps, but we can't. Maybe someone with a PFF/CFF account can give that Basically it's just a matter of belief I guess. Seeing dude knock down four FGs and go perfect during a pressure-filled game for him is damned impressive if you ask me. I don't believe that Fitzgerald could do that.  That being said, I'd have to know more. I will say that it may be worth mentioning that we seem to like PFF this year and Sauls being a PFF All-American may be notable. Now that being said, the Panthers may not be even considering Sauls.
    • Ive said it 1000x times on here.  Our 2025 season will be dictated by the first 4 games.  poo the bed there and lose all confidence and momentum, we win 5 games maybe.  Go 2-2, 3-1 we got a look at 7/8 wins
    • I basically made almost the exact predictions on a phone call with a buddy about 3 weeks ago. I really do expect Evero gone before the seasons end, Young to just not able to get over the hump enough and DC to head into next season on a VERY hot seat.
