Avengers: Age of Ultron Review

I don't agree. I'm glad those characters are getting their due. I also think having somebody like Cumberbatch is going to inject yet another swath of people into the viewerbase. Limiting their parts to just cameos and such limits the time we have to know and grow and care for them as characters, and could also even eat into time spent on the storylines in the movies on which they are cameoing in.

People had the same concerns about "iron man" and "Thor" and "The Avengers" and "GOTG" when they were all released and they have all turned out to be great moves that have helped build an excellent interconnected universe.

Cumberbatch is perfect casting for Dr Strange in my opinion. And it could be a pretty good movie

But really no one gives a poo about Ant-Man. I'm only going to watch it for continuity leading up to Civil War and Infinity War

But one of the reasons Loki was a good villain is because we got his backstory in Thor and got to develop the character.

One of the reasons Ultron fell a little flat is because it was rushed. Ultron worked for a while in the comics, but then later made the calculation that the only was to truly maintain his directive of peace was to destroy all the humans and super heroes. It was a fleshed out progression that led to that conclusion for Ultron.

I feel like Thanos needs to have his story told leading up to the Infinity Gauntlet. Maybe they do that as a main antagonist on one of the movies coming out between now and 2019.

Or perhaps that will be part 1 of "Infinity Wars"

Either way they need to establish Thanos and put the character, his motivations, his power, and the power he eventually obtains with the Infinity stones into proper perspective to make the Infinity War (Gauntlet) as massive and perilous as it was in the comics. In the comics Thanos bested all of the Elders of the Universe and the In-Betweener to capture all 6 Infinity stones, proving his power even before he got all 6 stones

Thanos' Quest would make a pretty badass movie IMO (they would have to adjust the story for continuity of the movie MCU, but still)

But to each their own. It is not like I'm not still going to watch all of them :P

I kinda wish instead of getting Ant-Man and Dr. Strange movies we got a standalone Thanos Movie that showed him actually gaining possession of the 6 Infinity stones.

Like Thanos' Quest in the comics where he had to trick or defeat 6 powerful and/or intelligent beings to gain possession of the 6 stones.

I feel like that would help establish Thanos and show his power and intelligence and show what the universe is really up against in the Infinity Wars, as well as better define the powers of each individual infinity stone.

I feel like Dr Strange and Ant-Man could have easily been introduced through other Marvel films and they don't need their own movies.

I am pretty excited about Black Panther movie though. He is a badass :P

Yes he is. Black Panther might be my most anticipated movie for phase 3 outside of the Infinity Wars.

Key for me enjoying summer movies, especially sequels, I Stay away from the hype. I know almost nothing about the movie other than the 1 or 2 trailers I have seen.

Yeah that was probably the only part for me that I didn't like was how much I knew going in. Cap 3 info is starting to trickle out on the web and I'm staying as far away as possible this time. I don't want to know anything at all. I already feel like I know too much,

It was a great 'super hero movie'.. it was not a great movie.. exciting, fun and too much story to pack into 1 reel of film.. 3 hours of film at that.. like all the other Marvel movies, it exists just to set up the next 2 movies coming down the pipe.. but it was good fun for sure

    • You’re playing madden we’re talking real football stuff…. He does have you seen his special on internet he def thinks he’s getting paid
    • Without the team having an identity kinda hard to predict what they value.  They either are really trying to build a balanced team, or preparing for another swing at qb if Bryce doesn’t pan out. Seems like we value the o line but the $ spent there has been underwhelming besides Lewis, you could say it’s because of injuries but still hasn’t been worth the investment. as already stated, the whole handling of Bryce young as a whole has been ass backwards, we spent the years we’re supposed to take advantage of having a qb with a lower cap hit, building the team up to be adequate. now It appears, key word appears, the saints have done it correctly, which is painful to even think about. Regardless, I hope the front office has paid attention to qb contracts recently, such as Tua, Kyler, Daniel jones(pre colts) and don’t settle for subpar qb play at franchise qb rates
    • This is the flaw in your logic.  Cutting 3 of our best players will somehow move us from whatever we are to "compete". Even the most Young super fans are not predicting a ceiling above top 10-12, and that will not nearly cut it.  Someone will need to break the log jam of QBs getting nothing or North of 50. Our qb is at best a middle ground, lets hope it will be us that also manage to pay the worth at about 100 over 3 years.  And before you jump me, yes that is only of he improves.
