What's best for Cam

Recommended Posts

I'm glad there are a lot more folks saying "there are plenty of other players in the draft" as opposed to chicken littles shouting about falling skies.

If our OL can give Cam another half second, then they are much improved from last year.  The OTs we really wanted were taken.  The WRs weren't as good a value as Shaq.  Despite the success of the WR class from last year, is that a trend or a lucky break?  Most of the time, rookie WRs don't have the impact that they had last year.

Looking at the "who's left" list, there is still a TON of talent there.  Lots of guys who can come in and contribute pretty quickly.

After the season we said there will be WRs in free agency. After free agency we said we will draft a WR in the 1st or 2nd. Now we're saying there will be a WR later in the draft. Soon we'll say a team will cut a decent veteran WR and we'll sign him.

Well, we are just fans.  We can say whatever we want, but Gettleman makes the decisions.  How much of a difference would a guy like Perriman have made?  He's very raw running routes (like KB was) and has some concentration/hands issues.  He tested great, but some of the "smart football folks" say he doesn't play at that speed.  I think they wanted someone who was much more of a sure thing than a gamble.  Shaq feels much more like a sure thing, or at least he'll be come a solid player.

I still think we'll get some more help at WR, but it has to be the right players at the right time.  Ultimately it's in Gettleman we trust until he's fired.

Once our best players finally got on the field, how many times did we get blown out? And adding shaq and tillman to that mix makes them even better

Point is, you can only rely on your defense so much.

I'm not saying don't invest in defense. But if the playoffs showed us anything last year, it's that we need firepower to keep up with Seattle.

When the time came for the Seahawks to score points, they did. Our offense struggled. Why? You can figure it out.
