It seems the tough streets of Philadelphia were too much for a friendly little robot from Ontario. All the Hitchbot wanted to do was see the United States. But just two weeks after starting its cross-country journey in Boston, Hitchbot's trip has come to an unfortunate end. Last night, the cute little robot was vandalized and apparently decapitated in the city of brotherly love.

I've visited Philly a few times. The cheesesteaks are amazing and the historic blocks are incredible, but that's about it. The people are assholes, it's a filthy city, and it's located in the NE.

Went to philly for 2 days and it was like an entire different world. Just went to a flea market and citizens bank and everyone there is assholes

I was watching the Drugs Inc episode on Philly. They were showing how the middle class sector of the city had been abandoned for the last 15-20 years. My girlfriend walks in the room and says, "You're not watching ww2 videos again are you?" I just laughed. But she was right. The place looked like Berlin after the bombings.

I've never been to Philly, but my Dad has many of times.. He always goes back to this story of when he was there partying and there was a guy on a roof throwing records at people on the street..
