Corey "Philly" Brown's Development

Philly needs to learn to extend his hands and catch the ball away from his body or he will struggle to catch balls like Cam's tonight. He just doesn't seem comfortable catching passes away from his body for some season which is something Ginn does pretty well

Corey Brown also took a poor angle in his pursuit of the ball. If he tracks the ball a little better then he is under it to make the catch with both hands. Instead, he tracked too far to his left, and the ball fell awkwardly to his right where he could only extend one hand.

this is what I saw. Should be a special year for our receiving corps.

Personally, I think Philly is going to see the field less.  For all the OTA hype around him, he's just been okay in training camp.  KB, Funch, Ginn and even Bersin seem to have more of a rapport with Cam.  I'm not seeing much of a different Philly than from last year.  I know it's early, but the WR's listed above are all improvements over last year (including Bersin). Philly will be on the field but his opportunities will be limited this year.

Asking Cam to trust his pocket is like asking me to trust the police. Sure, they aren't out to get me fuged up, but why take my chances?

This year he's going to have to do it.

If Oher can play all season like he did tonight he should have the opportunity to step up in the pocket unscathed and make some big time plays.

Ginn and Cam just have chemistry. Just like KB and Cam. They get Cam way more than other WRs.

I don't think so.

    • Also confirmed that Andersen was injured and not 100%. Said he could've kinda played but really can't do that this time of the year.
    • Rod kinda confirmed that Staalsy is gonna retire. Called it a great ending to his story.    Glad for him to go out on top with the cup and conn if true.
    • Every union, union adjacent, or union tangent organization does this. They prey on dumb employees  who think the union is there for them instead of the mob or some other social-politically entangled arse. Always degrades the product and indeed the price of that product too. Then money flowing up to people with 0 to do with anything about the product. Its the most simple protection racket and oldest in the book yet people are still sub 70 enough to think it matters for anything other than making money for the racketeers.  I mean this is on their Wiki(yeah i know wiki) The NFL Players Association is the labor union representing National Football League players in matters concerning wages, hours and working conditions, and protects their rights as professional football players. So instead of the player doing that with his own agent which is why you have a fkn agent lol. So they are pilfering money from the player twice. Agent then NFLPA The standard annual membership dues are approximately $15,000. While players are not legally obligated to formally join the union, those who choose not to are generally still required to pay a mandatory service fee equivalent to union dues. Can't take anyone seriously when they talk up unions and since the mob is involved that's why you get those refs doing NFL ref poo. You can even hear former mob Michael Franzese just open admit this now that he's out of prison and making YT videos.(has been for years now)
