Does Cam take a step this year?

Not a leap to Top 5.  But a step.  Do you guys think he takes strides in his passing game this season?  Puts more touch on his throws?  Has better feet when throwing?  Not as many high throws?  Or do you guys think he is what he is with his "phenomenal" coaches he has around him (Shula, and Dorsey)?

In regards to touch, I think we see a lot more accuracy from Cam this year. Once he starts to trust his o-line, and steps into the throw instead of throwing off his back foot, his accuracy will get a hell of a lot better.

if this happens, we will be solid on offense.  Even with the lack of weapons.

He's been pretty accurate in the preseason (the drops just haven't helped his numbers), so that's a good sign.

To really see a step though, I think he needed KB.  Before KB went down I thought Cam could be a dark horse MVP candidate. Now? We'll see. As already said, he kinda is what he is with the gunslinging and lack of touch sometimes.  He's never going to have Aaron Rodgers accuracy, but I think he cements himself as a Top 10 QB this year and becomes a tad more consistent.

he's gonna have to. his offensive line is vastly improved over previous years, but the loss of KB and his fifty-foot catch radius means he's gonna have to make those accurate throws when the game's on the line. not that he hasn't done that in the past, but sometimes he misses throws he can't miss.

gotta make em this year.

    • lol josh allen looked pretty bad there for a while
    • He’s the best QB in the NFL right now. I’ve been saying that going back to the end of 2023. He has done more with less. Give him what the Ravens have and I think he’s got multiple Super Bowls at this point. I know Ravens fans and other people thought Lamar deserved the MVP last year but Allen, and really their last two match-ups, showed why Allen won it.    I don’t know if the Bills have the team to win a Super Bowl but they are good, and that’s because of Allen.    Watching them makes me realize the Panthers will never compete so long as Young is the starter. He just doesn’t have “it”. Maybe it’s a bit unrealistic to compare but Allen’s arm strength is pretty demoralizing.  He threw for 251 yards, in the 4th quarter. Bryce has thrown for 251 yards once or twice?
    • So true. Even with Josh Allen's first rough couple of years, you saw the potential with him. He just wasn't consistent, but he would rip off HUGE games both passing and rushing that would make you go "yeah, this dude has the chance to become something". Bryce has NEVER shown that. Not one game where you go "wow, this kid will be a beast". It's been the same sh*t since his first regular season game to now. Xavier Legette the same thing.  TMac today definitely looked the part. Just too bad we paired him with one the worst QBs in the league
