PIE for AJ Klein!

It's obvious we have good to great depth on this team at several position groups. The preseason showed is that and how difficult the cuts to 53 were. Hell, the weekly actives to 46 are tough now.

Klein did a great job and so did the Oline. We were justified in our apprehension and they played great. Pie for the whole team. Good win. Feels great to be a Panther fan this morning.

While I was watching the game, I noticed late that I hadn't even heard them mention his name. Which could be a good thing when you're filling the cleats he had to fill yesterday. So I had a feeling he was holding down his spot and managing the D like he should. But I knew if he really had the job down? That he he would make a statement by the games end. And he sure as hell did. Great job! Luke has aught this man well!

It was a hell of a pick.  To have the recognition to get up and run was even better.  A second string linebacker making a leaping, falling down catch and absorbing the ground while maintaining ball control.  Hell of a play.  He didn't play a perfect game.  But that play alone was why we have the best LB corps in the NFL.  And then Cam to Philly capitalizing on it was EXACTLY what needs to happen in that situation.

Hell yeah! Excellent back to back plays.

    • I think i like the Oregon Safety better
    • Do you see the vision?  As of now our Carolina Panthers don’t have an identity. We are not an offensive powerhouse and on defense we only started getting it together towards the end of the year last year. In my opinion we are much closer to having an incredible defense that scares the daylights out of people. I say the answer is simple and we fully commit to that possible identity.    Emmanuel McNeil Warren (E man)  This guy is like a shark lurking around ready to attack anyone. Fearless. He is easily a top 20 talent in my eyes, and the only reason he isn’t more talked about is because he’s from Toledo. Do your due diligence as panther fans and watch his tape I beg you. Once you’re done watching let me ask you this, if you dropped E - Man into the strong safety spot on the Buckeyes, he isn’t being talked about as one of the best prospects we’ve seen in some time given the skill set you see with this guy? I think so. Put his name on the card and turn it in at 19.    Jacob Rodriguez  High effort, High energy, High IQ guy that flies around the field. We all know Jacob at this point. My only concern is he’s a little bit too good and I’m not sure he makes it to us at our pick in the second. With the additions of Jacob and E- Man I think our defense goes to top 5 in the league. We would have a duo of linebackers that rival anything we’ve had in our past. I’m not a GM so I don’t know what the possible answer could be, but if there’s a way we can comfortably trade up in the second to secure this guy I think we find a way to do it.    Spend the rest of our picks fixing the O - line.    Thoughts Panthers fans? Who’s the ideal duo for yall?
    • OL is arguably much more important to the success of a young QB. (Or any QB)
