I didn't much care for the early bye week when the schedule was announced, but boy do we ever need it right now.

we're a second-half of the season team anyway (traditionally.)

so this hot-start is refreshing, too bad we haven't gained anything over the Falcons, 'cause tgey are our real competition for the division.

Glad Tolbert and TD are ready to go...they are workhorses for all they contribute. If Either of those were out or questionable, I'd be way more nervous about this upcoming game than I already am.

so glad our guys get the by-week right now, couldn't have picked a better time. It also gives Shaq, Allen, Funchess, Williams and whoever that WR from Green Bay is that we got to catch up on some practice reps and do some serious intensive drills and time in the weight room/film room.

a breath of fresh air for all...including U.S. Fans. Hopefully we can gain some separation from ATL without having to play and get some good PR as the lone division leaders from the media.

It also gives us a free week for our coaches to spend more time game-planning for what will be our toughest-stretch of the season.

Just great-timing all-around. We gotta beat those bucs first.

I want to know why he went from hitting sleds and running drills to not even being seen at practice. I want to know what setbacks he's having, what the neurologist said, why it took so long for them to meet, why he isn't even traveling to Tampa, and when exactly they think he will be back. I also want to know if there was any sort injury to the spine which I believe there is.

Thats the legit answer I'm looking for. Not "he's in the protocol", "it is what it is", "its a process".

I tell you what you need to do then. E-mail JR. Let him know that you feel, as a mere fan, you deserve to know the truth. The whole truth. And nothing but the truth. He is really good at answering fan mail. I am sure he will do everything in his power to answer your plea.

What makes you entitled to medical information about a person you've never met?

The next time you or someone in your family goes to the hospital, I'll expect a thread on here with full, detailed updates and high-quality scans of all documentation and doctors' notes.

Your stance is entitled at best and unethical at worst. Feeling like you have a right to know any of that situates you as a stakeholder in LK's life. Because you aren't, it means you, as a consumer of the sport, believe this person is not a person at all, but a commodity on which your entertainment depends, thus giving you the right of access to information you wouldn't otherwise have or want from a person not caught up in your gravitational pull (since you've made it clear the sun revolves around you).

Get a grip.

If i had to guess, they wanted to test him while physically exerting himself. He probably had headaches after doing that and they told him to stop for another couple of days.

    • Yeah, if you tune in for any of the remainder of the season you will get what you're asking for. Nobody but yourself to blame. This is a sports franchise of losers, for losers.
    • Here is my take, go ahead and roast me, I'm ok with it, I know where I am. I'm not ready to throw in the towel just yet. I will wait until week 4 or 5 before I entertain that option. This game I blame on the coaching staff. Their failure to give reps to the first team during the preseason was reflected in this game. Lets just call this what it is... our preseason warm up game. You could see that the whole team was flat in the first half. Every aspect of the game, the basic fundamentals. Mental errors, missed tackles, timing on routes, they were not ready for this game. Jacksonville is not a great team but you could clearly see their energy level surpassed ours. I do have to give credit to our defense. They did hang in there and kept competing through 4 quarters (minus the 71 yard run). The way our offense played it's a wonder Jacksonville didn't put 40 on us. Positives I saw, (I know, I know), but come on, we still have 16 games. TMAC IS that guy!! Chuba looked good, and overall, our O-line looked good. As bad as Bryce looked at times I do feel like we're a step or two away from connecting with our WR corps. There were plays to be made that were JUST off by a step or two (again, I know). We have talent at WR, we have talent on offense. To me, this game just looked like a team that was not mentally prepared for NFL week one, and less, "oh my god, we're the same old Panthers". Now I get it... a lot of this hinges on Bryce Young and his confidence. If he can erase this and focus on building continuity with these receivers I honestly think we're not going to suck as bad as we did today. XL... IDK, the jury with him is still out, but there is no doubt the kid has mega potential. Our defense, honestly, considering we have a bunch of new guys on that side, they held their own considering the offense could never change the momentum of the game. I am as disappointed as everyone else at another week one poor performance. But I also realize we are STILL rebuilding. Lets just take it week by week right now and see if we have ANY talent that rises to the surface. Because I really do not know what we have talent wise. And that is not just limited to the QB. So, we will see, but I'm not going to call it just yet... just my take. Now fire away! lol
    • Well for one, what other realistic choice is there? Barring a season ending injury, Bryce is the guy for this year. Next year all options are open, but there aren't any other real world solutions for the 2025 season.
