Cam is controlling his offense/PIE thread

Cam really is doing this almost by himself offensively...other than Ted Ginn, who NO ONE wanted anyway, we have no receivers, so teams know to blanket Olsen. Cam says, no problem.  The rushing game, other than Cam himself, is almost non-existent. Cam says, no problem. The play-calling borders on ridiculous at times, especially in the red zone. Cam says, no problem. The MVP whispers that started last week will only grow louder, and with good reason. No QB in the League has done what Cam has done with less, and it isn't close. Cam is a legitimate MVP candidate.

Like I said last year, some people respond better when you show confidence in them instead of continuously trying to make them prove even more when they've already proven enough.

Make Cam a captain, he'll take it seriously and won't pout as much because he knows a captain isn't supposed to pout. Check.

Cam was Offensive Rookie of the Year, had a first four seasons statistically as good as any QB in NFL history, has a Playoff win under his belt...quit moving the goalposts and go ahead and pay the man what he's earned, and he'll play even better...

...Because you've shown him that you believe in him and, just like he is with his charities, and giving TD balls to young fans, he wants to please those who show they are on his side.

Just look at his demeanor at the line:

Calm

Cool

Collected

Line collapsing.  Rolling out and directing the receivers.

All the while still having fun and flashing that b-e-a-utiful smile. #ManCrush

JNo has been out X-factor...probably the biggest x-factor in the NFL right now...but make no mistake about it, our QB is one of the best on the planet.  And it's not luck; it's preparation.  Don't expect it to end anytime soon.  Hard work pays off, folks.

Go Panthers! Keep Pounding!

NOW PIE!!

Thank God he's not Luck.

    • this is true.  But NFL Ss and defenses are actively taking that away and playing to take them away vs most teams.  The problem thus far in BY's career......is they are cheating and not respecting the deep game which makes the smaller/mid range game harder to pull off.  and Dallas is an anomaly game.  using those random games as well, look at this......doesn't really change the discussion/issues in Carolina.  Bryce Young took the shots this week because they were not just NFL open but college open.    Wide open dudes downfield that really were coverage busts/issues.
    • I will simply counter all that with: you should always strive, at every turn, to avoid indoctrinating young players into a culture of not playing to win the game.  Come man, that is an egghead academic approach that ignores the human element. it looks good on paper. Maybe.  In the voice of the great  Herm Edwards: Hello! You play to win the game.  I completely understand the need but that is not the way….
    • I wouldn't mind a te room of LaPorta,  Musgrave and b strange
