Are we not better than the Lions?

Seahawks look very vulnerable. Their offensive is complete trash, and I'll say this I was so sick of seeing RW run around like Fran Tarkenton and hitting 20 passes. If he tries throwing across the field against our pass Defense he will be In deep trouble. The 12thMan is their biggest threat at this point lol. They aren't going to light up the scoreboard. I think we will defeat Seattle FINALLY

We are who we are. Ball-control and sturdy in defense, controlling the clock. We play our game, regardless of the competition and we have been fortunate to have a solid roster from top-to-bottom.

it looks like we play down to our competition, but I think that is by design.

When it comes to a shoot out, that's when we start going no-huddle and that is where Cam puts us in his back and I hope we don't have to get ourselves in that situation because we are not deep defensively as far as subbing in and out players or covering injuries.

Sesttle is definitely more beatable this year than they have been in years past. We have the experience of the place from the playoffs last year so we won't be overwhelmed. We have a completely silent playcalling/communication system set in place specifically for this location. Our defense matches up very well with their offense since they can't run the ball effectively anymore without lynch.

the area of the biggest importance is cam and the offense. If we can block and run the ball we will be able to score some points. I think we could escape with a win but it will be hard fought. Like when we played the 9ers still at their peek before they fell apart.

We are tougher than Seattle at this point.

AJ klein is running the defense that had 25 interceptions for you...

I remember counting close to 5 interceptions missed in that game against houston... and trust me.. New Orleans won't come here and do that poo they did last time they were here... but then again ...

ENJOY AS CAROLINA PAINFULLY PILES UP POINTS ON OPPONENTS ...

Seattle has made a living on the ball bouncing the right way for 3 years.  They have exactly one play that breaks ours and others backs, Wilson scrambling around and throwing it up and it somehow being caught.  Their defense still has to be respected, but the carnival that is their offense got exposed tonight and a few of those balls Wilson likes to cough up finally bounced the other way.  Hell, they can't even figure out how to get a weapon like Graham the ball. They're ready to be exposed and we are the team that needs to do it!

Didn't the Lions have something like 1 sack before tonight? Our DL will EAT.

The players are tired of the Hawks, the coaching staff is tired of the Hawks and God damn if I'm not tired of the Seahawks. We will go into this game with two weeks to prepare and a massive chip on our shoulder.

What do you mean? Are you saying it's pre-determined that we play down to our competition?

not pre-determined, but that's what are type of play lends to. I mean, it'd be great to get a big lead on teams that we play, but in a ball-control offense, we kinda end up allowing opposing team's offenses to keep it close.

    • Ravens mixing it up with a random Mark Andrew tush push last year isn't a similar situation.  Lamar has run QB sneaks his entire career.  And often instead of a traditional sneak will even employ a 4th and 1 direct snap to Lamar simply because of how athletic he is (which even Cam did a lot of) and let him pick his own holes.
    • height being an issue doesn't just mean batted balls.  You could argue Bryce minimizes batted balls by adopting other poor habits such as his jump passing and leaving the pocket.   As I said, there are plays you can point to where he clearly was blind to parts of the field/players....which kills plays and opportunity. Which actually means some of the shorter/hot throws when things break down are where his vision gets blocked (and he had below average production all around the line of scrimmage).   has he figured it out? I mean, he improved off a trainwreck start.  But Bryce Young since arriving in the league (even while figuring it out)......doesn't generate much offensive production vs his peers.  I just think his ceiling is low.   And that's not in the grand scheme what you want in the NFL.  I think he can develop into a serviceable QB, that will largely always been a middle of the pack or low end starter.
    • People make a lot of noise about his footwork and I think it is overblown. Whether he takes 3 steps backwards or 5 small steps doesn't matter as long as he ends up at the right depth and is in sync with  the receiver regarding timing. If he does that consistently who cares as long as he has a firm stable base as he delivers the ball. Which he does need to work on. However even that is somewhat overblown given that often QBs have to throw off balance or from different arm angles to fit the ball around defenders. He is considered very accurate so apparently it isn't hurting him that much.
