Something Pete Carroll said has me concerned

In Wednesday's press conference Pete Carroll had this to say:

"If you look at our style, there are a lot of play actions, a lot of movement of Russell in general. Those are longer rhythm plays. In the drop back game, we like to be really quick with the football. We’re not a big drop back team on early downs, we’re trying to mix our game. In third down is when we have to feature it. We really, in this game, all games, we’re trying to keep his rhythm quick, and get the ball out to help protection, and just to take advantage of his style. He’s good at that. Hopefully we’ll see more of that."

I have a feeling the Seahawks are using the Saints game as a blueprint for how to beat Carolina's defense. If you remember, Luke McCown picked apart the Panther's D all day, completing 31 of 38 passes for 310 yards. The Saints negated the Panthers pass rush by not giving their offensive line a chance to fail. Granted, Luke McCown is 6'3 and can see more of the field than 5'11 Russell Wilson. But this comment by Carroll all but confirms how the Hawks plan on attacking Carolina. It will be paramount for the defensive linemen to get their hands up to bat the ball, as well as solid tackling by the DBs and LBs to force Seattle into 3rd and long where the linemen can really go after Wilson.

Rivera and McD weren't expecting that from NO. They adjusted at halftime and did better after. And having Luke back is even bigger than we think. AJ was getting abused by McCown. Luke won't be abused by anybody. Not worried at all about their offense. It's our offense I'm worried about.

That's a good point. I think Carolina would have faired better against Brees than McCown.

Oh no doubt 90 percent of the plays will be 8 yard passes. The rest are 60 yard throw ups to open WRs after the play has busted.

Really hope we have a Josh Norman coming under pick again to make them think twice.. or a few LB picks.. This is going to be a game won by coaching IMO. Sean McD might come to play big boy ball and show a clinic... thats what Im hoping for. To shut all these Falcon cocksuckers up

Luke was in the game when we got blown out last year by the same gameplan starting in Pittsburgh and continued for like 6 weeks.
