Top 10 of banged up teams and still undefeated

Interesting article found wandering around ESPN. They are measuring the number of games lost to injury affecting starters and significant special teams contributors. May not fully agree with their methodology, but it shows every team's significant injuries and we've had to deal with a lot of them compared to most other teams. We're ranked #7 with the Packers and Patriots making the top 5. Validates what we've done building our depth and yet remaining unbeaten.

I really feel we are going to get better late and we are 5-0 right now.  If we had KB we would be putting up 35+ a game.

The fact that Cam is forced to look for different targets this year should pay dividends next year. If we can get Funchess up to speed and Cam continues his progressions, next years offense should be a blast. KB and Funchess wide, Ginn in the slot and Olsen as TE? Yes please.

Honestly, people say Cam locks on on a target or does not spread the ball around but there is simple reason for that.  KB and Olsen are elite pass catchers and they get open.  While players like Ginn and Brown do to a lesser extent. Although I think Funchess had a breakthrough the reason he is not on the field is because he drops balls he should catch.  Simple as that.

Denver is also top ten, so that is four of the five undefeated teams.

Crazy to think that the Bengals have eight games missed with the Jets and Seahawks having only six.

All our opponents so far have been in the bottom half of that list and therefor healthier than us except Jax, which is #9 right now, 2 spots below us. Feels good to know that our rash of injuries is bad compared to most of the league and we're still winning.

Seems we've moved into the rarified air of the NFL elite because our roster is much more deep now. We're not like, say, Atlanta, which has good starters but isn't deep. Imagine how bad they'd suck if they lost Julio to injury like we did Benji. And if we're doing well now with all those injuries, imagine what will happen when we go on our usual late season run when the injury bug has hit every team
