Amazon... great customer service or....

I buy almost everything on Amazon and one thing I noticed, if something happens to my order... if it delayed 1 day or longer, Amazon sends me a replacement order for absolutely free and I usually end-up receiving both orders on the same day.  And it's not small, cheap things...  They even sent me an order worth $250 for absolutely free (I received the original and replacement orders the same day).  And they never ask you to send anything back...  I ordered wireless modem worth $100 that was supposed to be delivered yesterday and I feel bad so I asked them to just update me on the status and instead they informed that replacement order was shipped for absolutely free.

My question is....  Why does Amazon do something like that?  Is it because of 2-day shipping guaranteed?  I get more free poo annually from Amazon than I pay for membership fees.

Amazon's customer service is awesome. It's like they just don't give a fug about money.

They give more than a few fugs - they just take it from the sellers. They also know that people come back again and again and again, so spotting folks some goodwill keeps loyalty high.

I personally buy next to nothing from Amazon and haven't really found their prices to be all that great compared to local places around me, though I can't comment on customer service.

I use Prime Pantry weekly, and order almost everything that I need for day to day life off of Amazon.

Anything to keep me from having to go to Wal Mart.

    • Lol Atlanta looks to have lost their young edge rusher, has no 1st round pick, a complete mess at QB, a new coaching staff… And we swept them this year. Says what they think of us.
    • I mean, you can only go so far with the propping up. When a guy's numbers are as bad overall as Bryce's you have to try to find specific niches to sell. It's just funny that they're honing in on where he's probably weakest to try to prop him up. Whether it's a pro-Bryce conspiracy or not, it echos my chief complaint about PFF's analysis for years. When your purely statistical analysis badly skews from the eye test of actually watching the games, it should be screaming at you that you need to modify your system not double down on it. PFF is awesome at compiling stats but their grade systems are highly flawed and they never seem to try to improve them.
    • Then why is Byce also last in other PFF stats?  The deep ball thrower stat by PFF can simply be flawed vs some conspiracy trying to prop up a QB on a team that a former employee now works for.  Both of these guys were also hired AFTER the Panthers had already drafted Bryce.  Trying to prop him up with a made up stat while he struggled would be a detriment to their own team honestly.
