People who wrote Jared Allen off during his first game

I'd have liked to see more delaire. especially on the sub scrub they had at LT after peters went down. The eagles offensive style limits subs tho so i get it and Allen came through in crunch time with effort and vet savvy, gettlemagic

He played with intensity it reminded me of that game he played once against some other team and he had like 3 sacks in a row ...I remember watching it on a tv sometime in the past.

If you watch a game from the future you'll let us know right? Especially those of us that may be gamblers?

He was decent against a backup LT. The sack was great, but he was pretty quiet the rest of the night. I would like to see more consistent pressure.

Amazing....

Actually he was doing his job.   I seem to remember he actually dropped off into coverage a few times.

Then again, he must have done that on his own since you think his ONLY job is to apply pressure.

You don't play, you have no idea what his assignments are.

Allen was an outstanding addition to this team.

Re-read his comment....the game he was referring to was one from several years ago when Allen had sacks on three straight plays.  He was not referring to a game in the future.

I admit that the wording of his sentence was a little off....but it was obvious what he was talking about.

I had no idea Allen's mother posted here.

    • I was playing around with the ESPN playoff predictor and it shows if 49ers and Rams finish with same record, the Rams hold the tiebreaker.
    • This is my thinking as well. Seattle played as good as they could on defense and Panthers still had a chance until those back to back turnovers.  I don't think the Rams played particularly well in their game against us, alot things went our way in order to win.  Someone pointed out the Rams were bad on the east coast road games and Seattle has been the better road team but they just fought a hard contested game against the Panthers, and now they travel to San Fran this week for their biggest game of the season to determine the division and if they are the overall #1 seed in the NFC or will be traveling for the Wildcard weekend.  If they lose they then travel back cross the country to play a team they've just beaten two weeks ago, not saying they won't be favored against the Panthers but the energy of hosting our first playoff game in 10 years along with the get back effect of having just lost to this team could be huge.
    • I don’t know about shadowing and all that, but according to this, whatever we are doing is working
