The Funchess tip pick

Our receivers rarely bail out Cam of bad throws and that's a problem. You need receivers who can make some wtf grabs when the QB isn't able to lay it in perfectly. Every sunday you see receivers make those impossible grabs but how many this year can you say bailed Cam out in the same way? Only last year with KB could you really say he was bailing Cam out at times. If we hope to go far in the playoffs, those kinds of balls where the receiver needs to put in extra work have to be caught or we will be arguing over the same poo in January.

Whoa, good for you Ace.  Seriously.

It was a catchable ball.

It was off target.

It is nice that Cam decided to hit Funch and give him some confidence, and didn't lock onto Olsen.

Many WR's in the NFL can catch that ball, almost all of them were not drafted this offseason, nor after the 40th pick in the draft.

Both QB and WR were at fault there, though without being in the film room we don't know if Cam or Funch was the one with the "most fault".

That's what you're supposed to do over the middle. Funchess has yet to learn how to hands catch.

i mean yea if his arms were 5 inches longer or something. now if you want to say he didnt run hard enough to get into position then maybe we could have a decent discussion, but he was bumped somewhere there too

However our Pro Bowl TE does bail out Cam....and our defense does bail out Cam.....you can't be good everywhere.
