Bucs @ Falcons

So... what are the chances the Panthers could be set up on Sunday with a chance to take a 2 game lead in the division on Monday?

I know "any given sunday". But I think the Falcons are looking mighty vulnerable right now. And TB has been playing better. I know they gave up a 24-0 lead, but still, signs of improvement front the squad. Atlanta keeps scraping by bad teams, even getting beat by the Saints. I think Tampa might surprise tomorrow. What do you guys think?

If not tomorrow, when do you think the Falcons' next loss will come?

Regardless of who wins, I bet it will be a ton closer than last year's 56-14 beatdown.  And it wouldn't surprise me if the Bucs did get a little payback for that--the Falcons were up 35-0 at the half and ran up three more TDs in the third before backing off and letting Tampa get 2 TDs in garbage time.

I wouldn't be worried about the dirty birds except for having to play them twice within weeks.  Add the long haul since our bye and things can happen.  I'll have trust in Rivera keeping fresh leggs available for the home stretch.  We can't afford anymore injuries.

I think playing them late in the season is to our advantage.  We are the tougher, more physical team.  We will be a little beaten up, but they will likely be more so.

In the last four years we're 15-4 in December.  Atlanta's been 8-10 over the same span. One team finishes the season stronger than the other, care to guess which?

He converted all 13 of his field goal tries with a 100% conversion rate that led all FBS kickers with at least 12 attempts. Fitzgerald was also perfect on his 14 extra points. He will compete with Matthew Wright for the Panthers’ kicking job in training camp. Harrison-Hunte went undrafted despite a strong showing at the Combine. He’s an older prospect who will turn 25 by the start of his rookie year, but he had just one season of sustained production at SMU after five years at Miami. Still, he earned first-team All-ACC honors in 2024 with 8.5 tackles for loss and 6.5 sacks and will push for a roster spot in Carolina as an athletic interior disruptor.   more at the link https://www.profootballrumors.com/2025/05/panthers-sign-19-undrafted-free-agents
