...Luck is solid...dont bullsht yourself..... this is one of the first Cam vs Luck meetings... it'll go down like Brady vs Manning over the years... btw, i'm a Cam supporter....

Don't play each other enough for it to escalate into anything like Brady/Manning. Unless they meet in the Super Bowl at some point Cam and Luck would play each other 3 more times at most. Assuming both spend their careers with the current teams. Pretty positive Cam is a career Panther. Luck's Colts future is in doubt though...

That last sentence, so accurate. People act as if Luck has been fine up to this season and that this is some anomaly with the way he is playing. The guy has struggled with decision making, which goes back to Stanford. He isn't the greatest at making the right throws at the right times. He benefits from a cupcake division and the fact that he got a lot of hype coming out. Put Luck in the SEC in college and I guarantee half the hype dies down within a year of being in the league. Namely because he wouldn't have played as well going against top tier defenses weekly.

Luck's flaws are being brought to the forefront now because of how much the team is struggling and how well the team played with Hasselbeck on the field. If Luck loses the next few games, I wouldn't be shocked if Indy fans aren't loudly calling for a change at QB for the rest of the year. And what happens if Luck flakes out the rest of the year, and the trend continues into next season? At that point, you have to strongly consider if he's your guy long term.

I think Luck is having a tougher year than normal and with better playcalling and a defense that can bail him out from time to time, Luck will be a good QB. Question is, will he get that? He's got good weapons around him (could use a fresh RB in next year's draft in the 2nd or 3rd round), all he needs is OL and D help. If Indy gives him that, he'll bounce back next year and that team will look much improved. If he doesn't get that, Luck may get drummed out of Indy.

What are you talking about? Luck was a HOF guarantee even before he was drafted, don't let stupid things like wins, or performance get in the way of greatness. If Luck isn't winning it's either the defense, OC, HC or GM's fault, it should be considered slander and libel to say or write otherwise.

I could not agree more.  He has a knack for the dramatics and can be amazing at time but he has always been an interception machine and now with a subpar line it is showing.

They may still win the AFC South by default which will only increase the false greatness that hen has led his team to a title every year.

I cannot tell you how many times I have written the same thing.

This is probably where my hatred for him comes from.  Everyone has anointed him the next in line of great Colt QBs. I think he will be around many years but making putting him in the HOF before he was drafted is just a bit too much for me.

Luck is Over-rated.  That said, he is also a VERY good young QB, and I won't deny that.  His problem is he has to reel in his Turnovers, but he hasn't been forced to learn because even through his mistakes, he's still won.  It absolutely sucks, but you learn the most when you lose, you find your weaknesses and correct them.  For instance, Cam learned to be a winner during his first 2 years in the NFL, he learned to fight to adversity last year, and he's learning right now what it takes to be one of the best in the NFL.  If he had been winning from day 1, I don't think Cam would have progressed as much as he has by now because he understands how hard it is to win at this level and how to appreciate having top level talent around him.

Luck reminds me so much of Manning... Eli Manning that is. If Eli never won those two super bowls he would have been labeled a terrible bust by now because of how inconsistent and interception prone he is. At this point Lucks only chance to salvage his reputation is to win a super bowl.

I don't hate Luck at all.  The main problem is that he was supposed to be John Elway + Payton Manning, give 5 years = best QB EV@R!  That's what they were saying his last two years at Stanford.  He was put WAY too high on pedestal!  That's not his fault.

Indy tried to build around him, but never did enough to put together a strong O line and running game.  Think back to Brady's early career and Payton's in Indy.  Shoot, throw in Brees, another one of thse first ballot kinds of guys.  Even when they were slinging 50 TDs, they were also playing with a strong running game.  It's not that Indy didn't try, but they weren't successful.  Great QBs love having a running game to lean on when times are tough.

Luck needs that. It took these other great QBs a while before they could consistently throw for 70% of the plays and expect to win.  Even now in the current pass happy NFL, you need some sense of balance.  It doesn't have to be dominate rushing, but something.  Luck doesn't have that toe really rely on, and this year, he's making bad decisions under pressure.

The difference between the development between Cam and Luck is that everyone expected Luck to walk in and be an all pro QB.  When Cam came in, it was a big experiment.  Most were expecting a Jermarcus Russell.  Cam's has his ups and downs, but he's settled into a better QB thanks to a lot of harsh criticism and a lot of adversity.  Luck on the other hand hasn't had the same heat and scrutiny Cam's had, and he's just not where he needs to be to be warrant his pre-draft expectations.

Are you fuging high?

No sir, I'm very clear.

Winston actually is on the way to be a quality quarterback, look at the QB's of NFCS, Matt Ryan is getting old, Drew Brees might leave the Saints with a "surprising" trade when he still has some trade value now, Winston is the quarterback Cam faces twice a year in the future and he might bring some trouble to our team.
