Brenton Bersin needs a TD

LUUUUUKE

Plain and simple, I wish Cam and Co could get him a TD and soon. He's constantly been overlooked on this board, and has risen to every single challenge. Dude is a grinder, and not only that but he's as dependable as they come when a catch to move the chains is needed.

I love when the announcers have to pause to look his jersey number up on the roster, before announcing the catch. He's not the best WR in the world, but I believe his time has come to show his own dance moves.

Obviously the bottom line is to win, but if we could get him a TD, I think it would be awesome!

what can I say, I'm a softie for the unsung heros

I forget when Cotchery's contract ends, and I'm not wanting to push him out the door - he's been playing great for us this year, especially on Thursday.  But, I could see Bersin being groomed for that possession receiver role for the future.  Cam likes him and trusts him to get the ball.  He's great with the rookies, teaching everyone the playbook and showing them around Wofford during Camp.  And apparently Bersin knows his stuff in the film room.  Add all these things to his clutch catches for key 1st downs and I think he's a keeper.

You don't have to make your name I Miss Chris Weinke for god sakes for you to make us think you are a true fan. Nobody misses trash Chris Weinke.

Cam Newton is the worst QB we have ever had.  We need to go back to the people who have a proven record that they can succeed in that position, perhaps someone more cerebral. I blame Obama for this. Weinke4lyfe.

    • What people fail to understand is Lance had a college career that lasted about as long as teenage boys first intercourse.  To say he was raw was an understatement.  So much so that even a QB whisperer had a difficult time molding him into a polished NFL product on top of multiple nagging injuries.  The dud is in his mid-twenties, finally healthy and little miles on the tread.  Low risk, high reward.  If he's available, it would be stupid not to kick the tires.  It took Darnold and Mayfield to hit their 3rd or 4th team for things to finally click.  This is Lance's 3rd stop, I believe.  It's either time for it to click for him or be relegated to a full time backup. Roll the dice....
    • Wrong.  At least we put a QB sneak in the play book and and add plays over 20 yards.
    • I don’t know if people realize that Evan’s was one of the top TE prospects in college  before having some horrible injuries. I wanna say he had two major injuries in back to back seasons which limited his play and dropped his draft stock.
