Bucs are one of the best teams in the league at shooting themselves in the foot.

First off, they should've just kicked for the extra point...the old adage is that you don't leave points on the field. Without that point, they could kick a field goal here and ATL would have to score a TD and leave them with the option to try and go for the 2-pt for the win.

oh well, moot point now...TB just scored a TD.

Secondly, they're the worst team in the league concerning penalties.

its going to be interesting how our DBs cover ATLs dual-threat WRs...those games could really help us prepare for what we'll see from ARI when and if we make it to face them in the playoffs.

      No one way to do it, it does appear that with the bigger draft picks of the last 5 years…..majority haven’t steered clear of young QBs on the roster being their hopeful guy. Especially past their rookie seasons but even some the biggest ones have had it early.   As far as Andy Dalton, the two young guys he has “mentored”…..have had very rough NFL starts.  Which really ask the why the heck is Dalton here.   He doesn’t really check any box.  No young potential.  Can’t step in and win.  And his mentor track record with Fields and now Bryce is bad

      I had thought the Panthers might let him play out his contract this year and hope he stays healthy. If not draft a left tackle and move Ekwonu to right tackle.

      Frankly, if most teams in the NFL lose their starting QB for a significant amount of time, they're screwed. The fantasy is that one has a future Tony Romo or a Nick Foles that can carry a stacked team. The reality is that you might get roughly 3~5 games out of your backup before it all falls apart. Remember all of Peyton Manning's backups? Utterly terrible.
