1 Notable Observation of Cam last night

LUUUUUKE

This is 2003 Cam Newton. The moment the Saints scored, I went back to my 2013 self watching the game and knowing that Cam was going to drive the team down the field. People continue to say he is doing things he hasn't done before, but he did this several times that season. Against the Patriots, Saints, Dolphins, and numerous others.

I just wish he wasn't so confident when he tried to stroll in for that TD run.  He's lucky he wasn't evaluated right then and there for a concussion, missing several plays.  It all worked out, but hopefully lesson learned.

This is what I fear. Losing Cam for concussion testing in the middle of a tight playoff game. D players will be coached to take the head shot around the goal line when there is no way a slide is in play. Many of his acrobatic TDs this year left him vulnerable to a player trying to hit him in the head as opposed to stopping him from scoring. Knocking Cam out of a game may be the only way to beat him.

Mine was when Ealy fuged up twice on the offside penalties and the first one to come over to him on the sidelines was Cam to get him calmed down.  Who would've thought Cam would be calming someone down?

I thought this was going to be the topic of this thread.  I was so glad the camera caught this moment.  He's done it before but not during a "national" game with all the idiots who question him watching.  He is making leaps and bounds right in front of our eyes and it is an awesome thing to watch.

The scariest part about it is that he still has room to grow.  He missed a couple throws and took an unnecessary hit at the goal line.  Those are plays that he will only learn from and get better at down the road.

Yea, the headshot scared me. DA is the best backup in the league, but we lose if DA has to finish the game. I'm glad Cam was ok.

Cam was cool, calm, and collected yesterday. It was great to see. Great to see Cam rally his troops. This team is truly Cam's team.

ALL QBs miss on a few throws a game. I no longer feel that this is an issue with Cam. Aaron Rodgers misses throws, Tom Brady misses throws.

Cam doesn't miss on throws nearly as much as he used to.

He's progressed, and the mentality of our own fan base needs to recognize this as well.
