Post your best Seahawk fan excuses

If there was one more quarter, Seahawks would've won. If the game was in Seattle, Seahawks would have won. If they had just done some gameplanning for Cam, they would have won. Needless to say, the Panthers are a fluke, and I believe they will be exposed in the next round.

But the key there? They didn't. That is the quintessential excuse.

Technically those are all valid factors, but my final answer would be a big "so what".

You're the sixth seed. This is the path you have to travel if you want to win it all. You're either good enough to do it or you're not.

They weren't.

You said it and more.

Pete Carroll said there should have been more time allowed in this game.  The only reason they lost is because they "ran out of time".

Whatever Pete.  Have a seat on the couch and STFU.

This is my favorite, how about the 30 mins they had in the first half when they got blown out 31-0? Such a douche.

Did these fans not know that their team would be dealing with a time change before the game started? Yet they thought they'd win. Same goes for the media that picked them and is now blaming it on the time change. Silly excuse.

Another Hot take:

" So, I've seen quite a few articles on how the Panthers utterly dominated the entire game today. Looking strictly at the numbers, other than the two turnovers (resulting in 14 Panther points), the Seahawks were actually the dominate team today. Converted more 1st downs, less penalty yards, way more passing yards, an almost 75% completion rate for Wilson, etc, etc...take away the turnovers, and it's an entirely different game, with a drastically different outcome. "

So Fat Alice has become a Seattle fan I see.

I posted here last week so I will check in for myself as a Hawk fan at least.

I don't have any excuses for Seattle. The O-line is their weak link and Carolina's front 7 demolished them in the first half. It is the story of the whole season really. I could see almost instantly that Carolina had the emotional advantage from the starting bell, and 14 points before Seattle had the ball for more than 3 downs bears it out. Carolina exposed the flaws along SEA's o-line and to me that was the tale of the game. All the RW3 started too horribly against a good team like the Panthers.

I hoped SEA could be within 24 by half time, and I would have given them a chance for a comeback. If I'm a Carolina fan I would hope that my coach would keep trying to score up to 35 points before taking the foot off the pedal. You shouldn't have to try and hang on to a 31 point lead. SEA isn't as explosive as AZ and still almost came back.

Congrats on the W. The Seahawks monkey is officially of the Panthers back.

I will come back the next time we play. Very active and fun forum.

I like a lot of players on your team and I like a lot of players on AZ team. I hate AZ's coach, so I will be cheering against Arians and for Fitzgerald, and for Keuchly/Davis/Cam this weekend. But I really don't care who wins.

Peace

The "Seahawks Monkey" was off our back after beating that ass at your home week 6.  It was your fans that were wishing that we still had something to prove, like beating you in Seattle was a fluke. Panthers fans knew better than that.  Anyway, props from coming around after a loss and not making excuses.
