Defensive game plan for Arz WR's

Probably the best WR corp we will face this year. Obvious they will target Mclain, Finnegan, and Coleman. Spread the field and take deep shots to exploit that trio. Allen has a bum foot and CJ isn't doing squat. Do they bring up Horton (run stopper, poor Pass rusher), activate Delaire and hope the dline can get pressure with the front four? Bring blitz packages and risk big  pass plays? Carson has to be rattled to even the odds. What is the best scenerio?

I actually think johnson and Allen did their jobs in the 1st half which was to contain wilson and keep him in the pocket and let the inside rush get to him. Horton. ..hell no. Delaire has a problem of rushing past the quarterback and letting them step past him. I saw go with the vets and rotate Ealy and addison in, they're our best options.

You have probably seen the last of Allen with this team. Broken foot is no joke.....pain killers can only do so much

One vet down and the other one sucking wind.

Chicken little??? Reality of the situation is that they have a very good WR corp and we have two guys that came off the street four weeks ago and another that isn't a great cover guy.

Everybody is stating how great Allen played yesterday, you guys do know he played against a backup for Seattle, right?  Okung got hurt early, and was out the rest of the game.  He played well, but let's not ignore how bad he was LITERALLY every other game this season besides maybe the Eagles game.

Lol.  It was a joke aimed at the people on here that like to freak out and think we're going to lose.  We all know who they are.  It wasn't directed at you..  Don't get so defensive

I would bet any cardinals reading this is laughing just like we laugh at the people saying the way to beat us is double olsen and make cam beat us in the air.  Don't you guy think every other team they have played was saying the same thing ...:get to palmer, stop their WR's" .

    • Would absolutely love to have him. I dont think he would require more than a 5th rounder. The biggest thing with his contract is the amount of guaranteed money. As long as they can work out and scenario where the Panthers aren't on the hook for a lot of that, I think it's a no-brainer. The Panthers can come up with $20M at the drop of a hat with restructuring Moton's contract, so there definitely isn't an issue from a money perspective. Jaycee paired with Ramsey along with Mike Jack would give us one of the best CB groups in the league. The one caveat I see is that safety still remains our biggest current weakness. We need a starting caliber S more than CB, simply put. But adding someone like Ramsey would be amazing as long as the compensation made sense. Ramsey could also play for FS snaps also. I also dont understand this nonsense about being seasons away. We have a QB on a rookie deal who was playing at an elite level to end last season. Within reason, now is absolutely the time to make moves like trading for Ramsey.
    • He'd be a huge upgrade for this year, but we're still not going to be contenders with him and I'd rather keep the cap space to roll into next season to spend on a younger player who can be an impact starter for us for the next 3-5 years while we're hoping to contend.
    • Because playoff hockey and regular season hockey aren’t the same thing.  It’s a combination of the game intensity being dialed up with loose officiating.
