Ladies and Gentlemen...

The fan base has arrived. This year...most than any other that I can remember, the fan base makes a huge difference in games. All my years watching football, seeing how the crowds affecting the game. With how loud they would get, making opposing teams false start. I saw that yesterday. The atmosphere in the air. Watching it at home. It gave me the sense that. This. Is. Our. House!

From the Keep Pounding Chants....to the hollerin' of "MVP! MVP! MVP! MVP!". Cam conducting chants on the sidelines...It's magical. It's such a great time to be a fan. Even sweeter if you've been with the team through the ups and downs. Seeing the growth of Cam to see him reach the tip of the iceberg of his potential...scary thought that he can and will be much better. He feeds off us, every fan. That's why when he mentions the fan base in his post game conferences...I firmly believe it when he says that we make a difference.

It's time to buckle up guys, the climb only gets tougher here on out....Revenge tour is still in full effect.

All true/Great!!

Somehow, you get the feeling Andrew Luck would not have embraced Charlotte, and demanded a winner/supportive fans/No opposition banners (beside the play on the field), etc., vs Cam!?

It was 14-0 before I got to our seats.......

took a while to get to our seats after being on the field for pre-game and being on flag duty (got to roll out and wave the big flag during the national anthem).  Being in the field during player introduction was incredible.....

I hope you guys make this week look like church.

Depends on the church. Lol. We need to make it look like a charismatic, pentecostal, African-American church. Baptist golf claps and catholic reverence? Nah man...

I'm thinking a mix of the tent revival from the Blues Brothers and the snake-handlers in the mountains of NC haha

The MVP chants seemed to start right behind me.

I could hear one or two guys start and then it just erupted.

Everything about yesterday was awesome.  Even the second half.

additionally if you haven't heard 70000 people chant MVP at your QB, you dont know what pride feels like.  Tear-worthy stuff for an old grizzled huddler like me.

even Peter King noticed it in his MMQB:

"d. The noise in Carolina. Really surprising to me. Never heard it like that before."

(rant on)

As a side note...love it when Jarred Allen, on each play, gives the raise the roof signal to bring the noise...so I watch him.  Only to be reminded not to watch him based upon my disappointment level.

The player intros were incredible. All those towel waving made it look like there were no Seahawks fans in the stadium.

I didn't see many seachickens fans in the stadium, don't know if you guys can confirm, the ones that attended the game yesterday?

We had only two in section 540....and they sat there like little children and took their whooping in the first half.  Then left at halftime.

    • Except it takes those QB's a few years to develop because they needed to learn the mental side of the game and have it catch up to their physical attributes. Bryce was supposed to be a QB savant who already had a fully developed mental side of the game and that was going to make up for his lack of physical ability.  And his lack of NFL level QB physical traits has been clear as day to anyone who has watched him the last 3 years, mainly, he just doesn't have an NFL arm, he can't zip the ball into tight spaces or throw on a line down the field like is needed at this level.
    • Don’t recall seeing many of his interviews but what strikes me is that he engages and goes in depth. Even with the cliche answers as referenced by OP come across somewhat thoughtful.  Very likable personality despite being someone who can crush an average person like I can crush a paper cup. I knew Motons mother had a career at MSU but was looking on the google and found that Mushin Muhammad personally knew Motons grandfather.   His late grandfather was a professor at MSU.   Cool guy.  Interesting family and small world.
    • I think people aren’t patient enough with Young. It can take a few years for a QB to develop. Look at Darnold, Baker and most recently Daniel Jones.   he hasn’t been able to put up big passing numbers either cause of how much we run the ball. You can tell our coaching staff still hasn’t took the training wheels off Bryce and let him go all out. We’ve had some pretty bad receivers as well. We finally got a true number one last year and look how much Bryce improved. Still we didn’t really have any depth behind TMac. Coker was hurt for a lot of the year and XL was our #2. How many big plays or TDs has XL dropped? I think this year can be the year we see Bryce able to hit his stride. If not then we can start looking for another qb but I just ask people to be patient.
