I don't know if there are podcasts for Packer's show, but if you're not able to hear this right now then I suggest checking out this interview if for no other reason than hearing Hurney answering tougher questions than those he gets from The Panther Pravda, WBT.

I do think Hurney is spot-on by saying that Jake's problem is his confidence level is down. Jake Delhomme really isn't the worst quarterback in the league like he's played in 2009, but it's his confidence being so low that's made him play like he is.

I totally blame Fox.

You find a way to rebuild confidence in a player, esp if its your qb.

Say what you will about Hurney, but even if Fox goes I want Hurney to stick around. Before this year his record has been nearly immaculate. And he is an absolute cap guru (again, that is with the exception of this year and the whole Peppers, Gross, Delhomme fiasco). He's drafted some very effective players who are bound to be a foundation for the cats for years to come. I think we have a real gem at GM and I'd hate to see him go.

I like that Pack is giving him some real questions unlike the fluff he normally has to deal with. I think Hurney is being as honest as he can without admitting he made a mistake.

the whole new contract was all about showing the confidence that they have in jake.

asked about 2010 draft and looking for a QB.

said it depends on how you feel about moore or cantwell.
