Agree he'll still play at an elite level. Just concerned about the man, not the player.

Those ACLs will be felt when he's older. Those dislocated fingers will hurt when he's older. Playing 2 weeks after breaking his forearm, especially as physical as he plays, will hurt when he's older.

This is basically the nature of professional sports. They get paid very, very well in return and they are playing of their own free will.

He knows what he's doing and he's an adult man who has made his own decisions. He doesn't need concern.

this can be said for a lot of players.  TD has definitely sacrificed a lot for this team over the years.  I just don't see him missing a super bowl if it's at all possible, regardless of his future health.

I see what you're saying, but I think Davis would rather hurt in old age than hold back while he can still perform. He knows what kind of checks he's asking his body to cash.
