Boston/Coleman

The Lobo

What did you guys think of them out there at the same time. I loved it. Not taking anything away from Rome bc I really like him out there. But there was something special seeing them do each other's celebration. When Boston made a big play, they both did the Future dance. The best one was when Coleman picked it off and they did Colemans flex celebration. I don't know just spit balling here, thought it was cool.

Personally, I loved it.  I'm hesitant to give big money to a safety because Gettleman seems to plug cheaper guys in there and we get the most out of them but I really like Coleman's range and ball hawking skills.  Boston looked very fast and seemed ready for a bigger role in the defense.

Shaq played some good ball as well.  It was great seeing him play a tweener LB/safety role covering Fitz before TD got hurt. That was a new wrinkle we haven't seen much in the past.

I thought Shaq was great as well. I loved how they had him jam Wrs and play real physical.

excited for the future. Gettleman just somehow continues to make this team younger and stronger every year. Like how is that possible and how did we get so lucky getting that wizard as our gm

I *think* we actually got older this year in terms of our starting roster.  We had one of the oldest rosters in the league, but generally the ages are so close as to make that stat almost meaningless.

But yes, with his excellent drafting and good UDFA finds, G'man is doing a good job of getting us solid young talent and keeping the bottom of the roster fresh.

This team actually has the potential to get better next year. That's not something many Super Bowl teams can say. With the readdition of Benjamin and our young players getting more experience...Boston and Shaq will get a lot more playing time... In excited about the future.

    • Number 9  Carolina Panthers  Bryce Young, the first overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, produced career highs in completion percentage (63.6%), passing yards per game (188.2) and passing touchdowns (23) in 2025. However, those numbers aren't exactly stellar by NFL quarterbacking standards. Even though the Panthers backdoored their way into the postseason in 2025 as NFC South champions with an 8-9 record, Young's performance was up-and-down. He threw for the third-fewest passing yards by a quarterback to make the playoffs in the last 20 seasons, per CBS Sports Research.  FEWEST PASSING YARDS BY QB TO REACH PLAYOFFS, LAST 20 SEASONS (MIN. 16 STARTS) PASSING YARDS PLAYOFF WINS 2012 Christian Ponder (MIN) 2,935 0 2008 Joe Flacco (BAL) 2,971 2 2025 Bryce Young (CAR) 3,011 0 2006 Steve McNair (BAL) 3,050 0 2019 Josh Allen (BUF) 3,089 0 Young did deliver some high highs, like when he threw for a franchise-record 448 yards passing in a Week 11 overtime win at the Atlanta Falcons and when he went toe-to-toe with Stafford in the playoffs in a 34-31 defeat.  Kenny Pickett couldn't win the Cleveland Browns' quarterback competition a year ago, and Will Grier is a career backup.
