#ThrowbackThursday "The New Logo"

Nike leaked this four years ago today. A simpler time when our mascot's new jawline was the team's biggest controversy.

 

Facebook reminding me that I said it needed to grow on me and I just laugh now. Do you feel any different about it now than you did then?

The new font is way better, but the old logo I still am fond of, new logo is fine too

That's interesting to see as it isn't actually the new logo. Thicker jaw line, white outline. Wonder where it came from.

im the exact opposite. New logo is much better and modern. doesnt look like a house cat. 

 

I LOVED the old font! poo looks awesome! it went from unique and cool to bland and generic. i miss that poo

Nike's Facebook page accidentally leaked this and the official one was revealed two days later. Good catch, I didn't even notice.

Hate the old font! But the 'first' new logo looks like it had a stroke. Glad the ear popped up.

I like the old wordmark. Hope to see it in the end zones again as a throwback thing or such one day.

I loved the change then, and I still like it now. Both the font and the logo were a great upgrade.

The new font is just so much cleaner. The old font looks like the early 90s page.

I love the new logo but hate the new font. Looks generic as hell. Old font looks like it was clawed out and gives off a jungle like vibe.

It reminds me of the 90s.

The new logo is much improved imo. I don't really like the new font, it's pretty generic, but it's way better than the old 90s font we used to have.

The old font looks like it would fit right at home on the cover of a "BLOODSPORT 17: THE BLOODIEST SPORT." on VHS.
