How do you think Charlotte is going to react when we win this SB?

If it is anything like the walk out after the NFCCG then Charlotte will give the Panthers a nice golf clap.

You don't actually need to destroy private property and light things on fire to celebrate a win....at least you don't need to if you are not an idiot.

People that riot and celebrate by destroying things give fans of every sport a bad name.

Not quite sure where you made the assumption that I insist our fans destroy anything, no one wants that. When 80% of the people walking down the ramps after a game (that sent us to the SB) are acting like we lost, then there is a problem. Yelling, chanting, clapping, and high fives are all acceptable ways of celebrating.

I'm born and raised in this city...It'll always be downtown to me because I remember the days before it was called Uptown to appeal to the yuppies

YOU CALLING ME A YUPPIE!?!

haha. I'm in the same boat. I used to call it downtown and it just caused confusion. I don't have any qualms about calling it what Charlotte wants it to be called.

I wasn't assuming that you felt that way....just as good a post as any to say that I hope we don't riot.

Also...the ramp that I was coming down after the playoff games were going nuts.

    • I could be waaaaaaay off about Kon. I do fault myself into, to borrow a NFL phrase heavily "RAS" nerd on players, too much. There are PLENTY of athletic freak shows that are playing overseas(or Amazon delivery) cause they never figured out NBA ball. I can easily miss seeing the talent. Plus did he only have 2 dunks on the season??(is that for real??) I didn't watch over a few hours of duke, but not one point did I think "That Kon guy is a top 4 pick in the upcoming draft". IMO I still foresee Ball bringing the ball up, doing his weak isolation game and never even looking for Kon. That's his best trait according to everyone, shooting right? I do not see ball, bridges, miller or even williams making the extra pass to Kon for him to shoot a 3.  Then defense-wise, Im not ready to type the amount of questions I foresee in his ability for guarding NBA SGs or bench SFs for that matter. Not that NBA players care to defend, but still..... I just feel he's a bad fit for the current hornets, trades are taking place tho... Liam to me is a decent comp for Kon and he fell some, but was a 29 overall pick. Still around 13-21 was the good solid range for Liam and I thought the same for Kon. This is just a classic case of I need to see it. It add to this, Kon is like garlic. Ball is like sugar and Miller is like flour. Mix it together and chef Lee is not going to get me to eat that dish..... Honestly I don't know why Im this vocal about Kon. In past years I would be patience and not post and see what the kid has. The other side, insert classic white boy terms here- _____, ______, _______< etc >. Hornets do desperately need them. His crafty back door cuts, his willingness to stay a extra 2 hours to refine lees plays, keep playing with bruised limbs. I heard from many reports he's mentally tough and hornets by all gods need that. God they are such pussys.  I hope Im wrong and if so, I will give Kon his just props.
