Panthers Player tweets following the Super Bowl loss

Reading the team's reactions gives me the urge to say this:

There are two words that the players and coaches of this franchise understand extremely well.

Keep...Pounding.

In the face of this defeat, that's exactly what I expect them to do.  But honestly, it sounds like some folks on this board are having a pretty hard time.

I get it. Everybody's physically and emotionally exhausted. It was a long hard season and it didn't end the way we hoped.  Okay then. Rest, heal and look forward to the offseason changes and the season to come.  There truly is every reason to believe that this team and their fans have got a lot of good times ahead.

You really wanna give up?  Feel free.  Fanhood doesn't carry any obligations.  It's just football.  It isn't "real world" level serious.  If you're not gonna enjoy it anymore, do what you feel is best for you.

But lemme tell ya this: If you can bail after everything the team and staff showed you in this special season, I've gotta say I don't understand that at all.

I'd add that when it does come to real life, "keep pounding" is a pretty good motto to follow.  I love football and I love cheering for this team, so that's what I'm gonna choose to do.  And yeah, I hope a lot of other folks here will make that choice as well.

Up to you...

NFL wrote their storyline, can't let the previous 2 NFL men of the year get a ring in favor of a guy being investigated for hgh use and a charge of sexual assault going back to college.  He's an NFL all time great, but the idea that he's this spotless NFL white knight is pure garbage.

I've never liked the Manning family. They are a bunch of smug asshats. The NFL got what they wanted.

I love the Keep Pounding mantra this team has.  It's our defining trait.  I expect the players to take their time to recover, rehab, get ready for next year.  Then to keep pounding.  We have some issues, but if we keep pounding on those mistakes, we can get better.

This is a special group of players, and I think that we are in an amazing time to be a Panther fan.  If folks don't like us when we don't win, fug'em.  This is my team.  They grew up with me, helped me bond with my dad, and have brought me so much joy in my life.  My son loves Cam Newton, he dabs, he sees the joy of sports.  While I'm disappointed with the result, they are still my team, through thick and thin.

They will keep pounding into next year and the years beyond.  Let's go Panthers!

    • The Texans have done so much to try and surround CJ. They signed Diggs last year. Dell gets hurt so they trade for Kirk this past year. They drafted Higgins (who many had as a 1st rounder) and Noel (many here wanted) and still had Hutchinson The fact is CJ had a pretty easy his rookie season. Clean pockets. Guys running open deep. Slowik was in his bag. Then the wheels fell off. CJ didn’t respond well to Slowik’s hard coaching. Slowik gets canned.  I don’t think there’s been a massive regression I just think things are a lot less easy now and CJ is having to actually think a bit on his own. Which is where the problems begin. CJ has some Sam Darnold to him. He can make every throw with ease but when there’s pressure they tend to do dumb stuff. In 2023 there was a lot less pressure and thinking so CJ balled out much like Sam did in Minnesota or even in Seattle. They’re both very very dependant on coaching/situation
