I think you have to set up your audio for the in game chat.  I tried MMing a story mission, but no one joined after a few minutes so I gave up.

I've spent who knows how long perusing menus and stuff trying to find an option to do that. You know how?

Well, there are two things I can think of that would lead to issues:  1 - Folks are using their mics.  2 - In the audio menu, there is a setting for proximity chat that I saw.

about to be level 20. Anyone here 30 yet on Xbox? Looking to go into the dark zone when I hit level cap. Anyone have any tips on speeding up the leveling process? Been doing missions as they pop up and clearing each safe house zone of their side mission.

There are a couple of perks that give you extra XP.  You may have already unlocked them.  I know there is one in the security section that gives +10% xp, but forget which one it is...just read the unlocks in the security section.  Then there is another one that gives +25%xp but I don't know off hand which section it is...again just read the unlocks in the perks and it will tell you what you need to upgrade.  

You can also look for gear bonuses that have a +xp% affix.  Get multi-kills, head shots etc.

Overall I will say I have been enjoying the game so far.  It's been a nice change of pace from some of the other games I've been playing.  but my only complaints so far is there is not enough character customization in the game(not counting clothing), or variety in enemies a lot of them are the same, I know they all have to be human, but still would have been nice to see more of a change up.

BTW level 17 now, finally starting to find some of the fights challenging, I dont think I even died in this game till lvl 12.

unfortunately i've confirmed this game is destiny 2.0. poo story and absolutely nothing to do end-game except replay the exact same missions on a higher difficulty. atleast destiny had the raids.

 

i had been so excited for this game for so long. what a letdown.
