This guy just resigned in our nation's capital today with ZERO pushback, fanfare, or circus.  How many times is the Big Cat gonna take it up the keister while his dream is so close and his time is so short?

Who got to the Super Bowl this past season?  Us or the Redskins?

You bet your sweet nipple it would if it was up to GMan and RR.  The key is JR.  He missed out on his dream in February.  Here's hoping he doesn't give a d@mn about the other 31 that turned their back on him in the LA stadium situation, tells the rest of society to stick it where the sun don't shine, and hands Greg the Lombardi next February on a platform of forgiveness.

Richardson doesn't interfere in Gettleman's running of the team.  Ask Steve Smith (or Charles Johnson for that matter).

As to the idea that they want Hardy back...Rivera?  Maybe. Gettleman?  Not likely.

Voth has confirmed numerous times that Gettleman only planned on using Hardy as a one year rental when he franchised him.  Even if the incident hadn't occurred, he wasn't getting a long term contract. Nothing has happened since then that would encourage Gettleman to change his mind on that (quite the opposite).

The key here is value.  Bang for buck.  Risk/reward.  It's there NOW in a BIG way, far more than before.  Again, see Ted Ginn.

Except that Hardy isn't getting a long or big contract from anyone...it was all about the money before whereas now he can be had for peanuts so you'd write up a contract that can be voided at anytime and have 0 guaranteed dollars. It's very high reward value compared to the risk his contract is going to be worked no matter who he plays for.

That was also before he had a domestic violence incident on his record.

That plus the other factors says there's pretty much no chance.

What record? The court of public opinion record? A Player played last year that actually killed someone before so a non existent record where he was only 50/50 to blame in the first place isn't bad at all compared to what has been recycled before.

We already established that there is no chance it's just a terrible waste of a high reward low risk 10+ sack guy that Panthers teammates vouch for and still like as a friend/person.

For one, the record that Rae Carruth played for us and that fact still embarrasses the team.

They're not bringing Hardy back. Argue it on here all you want but it's not gonna change the team's mind.

No one fugin outside Panther fans know who he is...current commentators and analyst don't even get current players names right and they have no fugin idea about anything Panther related...but yea they ALWAYS bring that up in regard to our team huh?

Nothing we say/do here affects the team in anyway or sways them...irrelevant point is irrelevant.

Again

And if the team that 'knows him best' doesn't want him, what does that say?

(and for the record, Manziel has teammates that defend him too)

Bottom Line: If there's any "waste" going on, it's Hardy's fault, not the team's. Given the circumstances he was in last year, the smart thing to do would have been to act like a model citizen and keep his mouth shut.

But therein lies the problem. Hardy is where he is today because he rarely does "the smart thing".

Now you can say "that's who he is" to which I'd respond that if "who he is" is a dumbass then you can't really blame  the Panthers  or any other team for passing on him.

Remind me what crime he committed while at Dallas? He got into it with teammates probably because Dallas has far from the locker-room we have...Hell our Star QB and Star CB got into an actual fight last year....to that I say "so the fug what" Hardy didn't even fight anyone and he didn't do that poo here. He did poo like speeding like an idiot and all that does come with Hardy being Hardy.

I'll take that easily for a poo contract and 10 sacks. Hardy's "trouble" is well worth the 10 sacks for the price....that's the point.
