Cyrus Jones in the 3rd?

Carolina is one of the few teams in the leagues whose roster isn't in turmoil.  They are in a pretty good position going into the draft.  One area that concerns me is special teams, especially punt returns.  Outside of Ginn, the depth at that position is scary.  Still have nightmares of Bersins muff.  Carolina has the luxury to take a few risks in the draft.  I vote for Cyrus Jones in the 3rd.  Hes not the best CB but would make a decent nickel giving depth in that area but also provide depth  in punt returns as he was the best in the country at it in college.

Here he is snapping ankles on a return during the cotton bowl

The kid had 4 punt returns for TD last year. Why oh why, did you have to use the 1 against Michigan State? Just to make may day worse? What did I ever do to you? May your next orgasm be in your pants.

Cyrus Jones is worth considering in the third round. Mike Mayock feels he can be a starting nickel back right away and make a difference in the return game. The Panthers need help in the return game. Beneweikre will be moving to the outside potentially creating a need for a nickel back. I trust Gettleman and his staff to study the film and make that decision. In my humble opinion I think he may be worth a shot in the third round.

I do wish he were a tad bigger. But I guess? From what I have seen of him. He has good ball awareness. We play a lot of zone, which fits the kid. If you promise me we can wait until the 4th for him. I might get on board with that. Then again, maybe he can be a productive NB for us?

I like what he may bring. But what he lacks, or what is unknown, kinda scares me. But...if we take him. I hope we bring in a Vet NB type to mentor him until he can take over the spot himself.

All I know is we need to address the NB position. The better talent we bring in. The better our D will be. Duh. If this kid can make us better. I can live with it.

He had a domestic dispute last Spring and was arrested. The charges were dropped like immediately though. I just wonder how we would view that as an organization considering the Hardy fiasco. I like him as a player and I think he is exactly the type of corner we need (we need 2 tho)

We will need a punt returner to replace Ginn soon, but we will not need a kick returner.  We can send Sir Purr out there to stand in the endzone and wave his arm in the air.

Like he just don't care? Sorry, long day.
