For the record, the guys that made Teen Spirit didn't even think it was that great. They felt that it was the 5th or 6th best song just on that one album and that it came across as a ripoff of the Pixies.

Most of their songs come across as pixies ripoffs. Kurt just had the sex appeal and more growly voice then big Frank. It's crazy the amount of people that don't know this band.

im pretty sure Kurt was a guitar tech for them at some point? Or maybe that was the Melvins. I can't remember which

probably the melvins because they were local to the area.  dale crover has actually played on some nirvana stuff including a few of the tracks on bleach.

their label thought "come as you are" would be the big single (relatively speaking, they only projected nevermind to sell 250,000 copies tops) off that album too.
