Meh, this is kind of standard.  Von Miller is doing the same.  We should just trade Von for Josh.  Haha.

He is accomplishing not getting injured when he does not have a long term contract. It's standard and is in the players best interest. 

The reasoning is obvious.

The real question is will he be there for training camp.  Can't blame him for not wanting to sign the tender until as late as possible but a holdout into training camp is a different story.

so is kawann gunna not show up too? players are in contract years all of the time and we have had close to 100% participation

 

not getting injured? hes gunna work out anyway wouldnt it be better for him to get hurt at the facility? pretty standard for players to use that excuse i guess but the reason to do this is to gain leverage in contract talks.

I would consider trading him. I know a lot of people will not like it but if he becomes a distraction it is not good.
